Description
The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) is the largest public
institution dedicated to research in Spain and the third largest in
Europe. Belonging to the Spanish Ministry of Economy and
Competitiveness through the Secretary of State for Research,
Development and Innovation, its main objective is to develop and
promote research that will help bring about scientific and
technological progress, and it is prepared to collaborate with Spanish
and foreign entities in order to achieve this aim. INTA is the Public
Research Organization specialized in aerospace research and technology
development. Among its main functions it is worth mentioning: (i) The
adquisition, maintenance and continuous improvement of all those
technologies that can be applied to the aerospace field. (ii)
Performing all types of tests to check, approve and certify materials,
components equipment items, subsystems and systems that have an
aerospace application. (iii) To provide technical assessment and
services to official bodies and agencies, and also to industrial or
technological companies
