We continue the PPO series (Fehrenbach et al. 1987A&AS...71..263F, 1987A&AS...71..275F, 1990A&AS...83...91F and 1992A&AS...95..541F; Duflot et al. 1990A&AS...83..251D, 1992A&AS...94..479D, 1992A&AS...95..541F and 1995A&AS..110..177D), using the Fehrenbach objective prism method.

- We present the results of a new spectroscopic and photometric survey of the hot, binary X-ray cluster A115 at z=0.193, containing a radio relic. Our analysis is based on new spectroscopic data obtained at the Telescopio Nazionale Galileo for 115 galaxies and on new photometric data obtained at the Isaac Newton Telescope in a large field. We combine galaxy velocity and position information to select 85 galaxies recognized as cluster members, determine global dynamical properties and detect substructures.

- We present the results of the dynamical analysis of the rich, hot, and X-ray very luminous galaxy cluster A2219, containing a powerful diffuse radio-halo. Our analysis is based on new redshift data for 27 galaxies in the cluster region, measured from spectra obtained at the Telescopio Nazionale Galileo (TNG), with the addition of other 105 galaxies recovered from reduction of CFHT archive data in a cluster region of about 5-arcmin radius (about 0.8Mpc/h at the cluster distance) centered on the cD galaxy. The investigation of the dynamical status is also performed by using X-ray data stored in the Chandra archive. Further, valuable information comes from other bands - optical photometric, infrared, and radio data - which are analyzed and/or discussed, too. Our analyses support the view of the connection between extended radio emission and merging phenomena in galaxy clusters.

- The Alpha Persei open cluster (Melotte 20) is one of the nearby clusters (d<500pc) for which a long-term systematic radial-velocity monitoring of the solar-type stars has not been published so far. We undertook an observing program in 1982 to study the membership, duplicity, and rotation of the main-sequence stars and to compare the results with those of the other nearby clusters. Radial-velocity observations of 60 solar-type stars in Mel 20 were obtained with CORAVEL, and of 44 fainter stars with ELODIE spectrographs, in the magnitude range 9.5<V<13.85 The membership of 37 stars from the list compiled by Heckmann is confirmed according to their proper motions, radial velocities, and photometry. We discovered twelve spectroscopic binaries (3 double-lined, 8 single-lined, 1 suspected) among the members and determined an orbit for the double-lined binary He 848. The observed frequency of spectroscopic binaries is therefore 32% (12/37). Four stars are photometric binaries. In addition, the membership of 33 stars with AP numbers is supported by the present radial velocities. Two single-lined and three double-lined binaries were detected in this sample. The cluster mean radial velocity is -1.39+/-0.17km/s based on 18 stars within 2{sigma}. We found a systematic difference of 3.67+/-1.48km/s between observed- and astrometric radial velocities. The Alpha Persei cluster members define a tight main sequence in the colour-magnitude diagrams. The remaining scatter observed in the colour- magnitude diagrams and in radial velocities may be due to the difficulty of separating the core Alpha Persei stars from the extended comoving stream.

- The observations of radial velocities of B8-A0 stars were produced in 1932-1937 with one-prism spectrograph and short camera giving a dispersion of 75{AA}/mm at H{gamma}. When reducing the observations the systematic error as described in our previous paper (I) has been taken into account. From the comparison of the radial velocities of 7 stars in common with two catalogues the systematic correction to our radial velocities was deduced, viz.+0.44+/-1.51km/s in the sense Moore-Simeis. In table XII there are given the final radial velocities for 91 stars with mean value of p.e. equal to +/-3.57km/s. In table XII are given observed velocities for 16 stars with variable radial velocities. Very large velocity of the star HD 161817 leads to the conclusion that this star belongs to the class of high-velocity stars.

- Measurements of lithium (Li) abundances in open clusters provide a unique tool for following the evolution of this element with age, metallicity, and stellar mass. In spite of the plethora of Li data already available, the behavior of Li in solar-type stars has so far been poorly understood. Using FLAMES/Giraffe on the VLT, we obtained spectra of 157 candidate members of the old, metal-poor cluster Berkeley 32, to determine membership and to study the Li behavior of confirmed members. Radial velocities were measured, allowing us to derive both the cluster velocity and membership information for the sample stars. The Li abundances were obtained from the equivalent width of the Li I 670.8nm feature, using curves of growth.

- This catalog presents new radial velocity determinations, based on 2nm/mm Coude plates, for 146 southern stars brighter than m(v)=8.3. Drawn from the catalog of uvby-{beta} photometry of southern A5-G0 stars by Olsen (1983, Cat. II/90), the program stars are certain or suspected Population II stars. One triple-lined and 10 double-lined binaries have been detected, including HD 210737, for which a preliminary orbit has been derived. Notes on spectral peculiarities are given. The catalog is in two files. The first file lists HD number, heliocentric Julian date of observation, radial velocity with error and number of lines observed for both the primary and secondary stars, rotation class, and remarks for each observation. The second file contains additional remarks to the data of the first file, sorted by HD number.

- Radial Velocities of Bright Southern Stars is the result of an effort to determine radial velocities for those southern stars in the "Bright Star Catalogue" with no previously published radial velocity. This version of the catalog combines three lists of data published separately during 1983-85, the first for B-type stars, the second for late-type stars, and the last for A- and F-type stars. J. Andersen notes the following in a 1987 private communication: "In order to make the 1982 edition of the 'Bright Star Catalogue' as complete as possible, preliminary or even incomplete data for many stars in this catalogue were provided in advance of publication. The present catalogue presents the final values, which should supersede (not be averaged with!) those given in the Bright Star Catalogue." The method employed throughout the entire observation program is described by Andersen & Nordstroem (1983A&A...122...23A).

- We derive single-epoch radial velocities for a sample of 56 B-type stars members of the subgroups Upper Scorpius, Upper Centaurus Lupus and Lower Centaurus Crux of the nearby Sco-Cen OB association. The radial velocity measurements were obtained by means of high-resolution echelle spectra via analysis of individual lines. The internal accuracy obtained in the measurements is estimated to be typically 2-3km/s, but depends on the projected rotational velocity of the target. Radial velocity measurements taken for 2-3 epochs for the targets HD120307, HD142990 and HD139365 are variable and confirm that the y are spectroscopic binaries, as previously identified in the literature. Spectral lines from two stellar components are resolved in the observed spectra of target stars HD133242, HD133955 and HD143018, identifying them as spectroscopic binaries.

- From a set of 13 cataclysmic binaries that were discovered in the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) survey, we conducted time-resolved optical spectroscopy and/or time-series photometry of 11, with the goal of measuring their orbital periods and searching for spin periods. Seven of the objects in this study are new optical identifications. Orbital periods are found for seven targets, ranging from 81 minutes to 20.4hr. PBC J0706.7+0327 is an AM Herculis star (polar) based on its emission-line variations and large amplitude photometric modulation on the same period. Swift J2341.0+7645 may be a polar, although the evidence here is less secure. Coherent pulsations are detected from two objects, Swift J0503.7-2819 (975s) and Swift J0614.0+1709 (1412s and 1530s, spin and beat periods, respectively), indicating that they are probable intermediate polars (DQ Herculis stars). For two other stars, longer spin periods are tentatively suggested. We also present the discovery of a 2.00hr X-ray modulation from RX J2015.6+3711, possibly a contributor to Swift J2015.9+3715, and likely a polar.
