- We present dynamical measurements for 586 H{alpha}-detected star-forming galaxies from the KMOS (K-band Multi-Object Spectrograph) Redshift One Spectroscopic Survey (KROSS). The sample represents typical star-forming galaxies at this redshift (z=0.6-1.0), with a median star formation rate of ~=7M_{sun}_/yr and a stellar mass range of log(M*_[M_{sun}_])~9-11. We find that the rotation velocity-stellar mass relationship (the inverse of the Tully-Fisher relationship) for our rotationally dominated sources (v_C_/{sigma}_0_>1) has a consistent slope and normalization as that observed for z=0 discs. In contrast, the specific angular momentum (j*; angular momentum divided by stellar mass) is ~=0.2-0.3dex lower on average compared to z=0 discs. The specific angular momentum scales as j_s_{prop.to}M*^0.6+/-0.2^, consistent with that expected for dark matter (i.e. j_DM_{prop.to} M_DM_^2/3^). We find that z~=0.9 star-forming galaxies have decreasing specific angular momentum with increasing Sersic index. Visually, the sources with the highest specific angular momentum, for a given mass, have the most disc-dominated morphologies. This implies that an angular momentum-mass-morphology relationship, similar to that observed in local massive galaxies, is already in place by z~=1.

- We analyse the velocity dispersion properties of 472 z~0.9 star-forming galaxies observed as part of the KMOS Redshift One Spectroscopic Survey (KROSS). The majority of this sample is rotationally dominated (83+/-5 per cent with vC/{sigma}0>1) but also dynamically hot and highly turbulent. After correcting for beam smearing effects, the median intrinsic velocity dispersion for the final sample is {sigma}0=43.2+/-0.8km/s with a rotational velocity to dispersion ratio of vC/{sigma}0=2.6+/-0.1. To explore the relationship between velocity dispersion, stellar mass, star formation rate, and redshift, we combine KROSS with data from the SAMI survey (z~0.05) and an intermediate redshift MUSE sample (z~0.5). Whilst there is, at most, a weak trend between velocity dispersion and stellar mass, at fixed mass there is a strong increase with redshift. At all redshifts, galaxies appear to follow the same weak trend of increasing velocity dispersion with star formation rate. Our results are consistent with an evolution of galaxy dynamics driven by discs that are more gas rich, and increasingly gravitationally unstable, as a function of increasing redshift. Finally, we test two analytic models that predict turbulence is driven by either gravitational instabilities or stellar feedback. Both provide an adequate description of the data, and further observations are required to rule out either model.

- We present and make publicly available the second data release (DR2) of the Keck Observatory Database of Ionized Absorption toward Quasars (KODIAQ) survey. KODIAQ DR2 consists of a fully reduced sample of 300 quasars at 0.07<z_em_<5.29 observed with HIRES at high resolution (36000{<=}R{<=}103000). DR2 contains 831 spectra available in continuum normalized form, representing a sum total exposure time of ~4.9 megaseconds on source. These co-added spectra arise from a total of 1577 individual exposures of quasars taken from the Keck Observatory Archive (KOA) in raw form and uniformly processed. DR2 extends DR1 by adding 130 new quasars to the sample, including additional observations of QSOs in DR1. All new data in DR2 were obtained with the single-chip Tektronix TK2048 CCD configuration of HIRES in operation between 1995 and 2004. DR2 is publicly available to the community, housed as a higher level science product at the KOA and in the igmspec database (v03).

- We present and make publicly available the first data release (DR1) of the Keck Observatory Database of Ionized Absorption toward Quasars (KODIAQ) survey. The KODIAQ survey is aimed at studying galactic and circumgalactic gas in absorption at high redshift, with a focus on highly ionized gas traced by O vi, using the HIRES spectrograph on the KeckI telescope. KODIAQ DR1 consists of a fully reduced sample of 170 quasars at 0.29<z_em_<5.29 observed with HIRES at high resolution (36000{<=}R{<=}103000) between 2004 and 2012. DR1 contains 247 spectra available in continuum normalized form, representing a sum total exposure time of ~1.6 megaseconds. These coadded spectra arise from a total of 567 individual exposures of quasars taken from the Keck Observatory Archive (KOA) in raw form and uniformly processed using a publicly available HIRES data reduction package. DR1 is publicly available to the community, housed as a higher level science product at the KOA. We will provide future data releases that make available additional quasars, including those with pre-2004 observations taken with the previous-generation HIRES detectors.

- In this catalog, we present the results of a systematic study of gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) with reliable redshift estimates detected in the triggered mode of the Konus-Wind (KW) experiment during the period from 1997 February to 2016 June. The sample consists of 150 GRBs (including 12 short/hard bursts) and represents the largest set of cosmological GRBs studied to date over a broad energy band. From the temporal and spectral analyses of the sample, we provide the burst durations, the spectral lags, the results of spectral fits with two model functions, the total energy fluences, and the peak energy fluxes. Based on the GRB redshifts, which span the range 0.1<=z<=5, we estimate the rest-frame, isotropic-equivalent energy, and peak luminosity. For 32 GRBs with reasonably constrained jet breaks, we provide the collimation- corrected values of the energetics. We consider the behavior of the rest-frame GRB parameters in the hardness-duration and hardness-intensity planes, and confirm the "Amati" and "Yonetoku" relations for Type II GRBs. The correction for the jet collimation does not improve these correlations for the KW sample. We discuss the influence of instrumental selection effects on the GRB parameter distributions and estimate the KW GRB detection horizon, which extends to z~16.6, stressing the importance of GRBs as probes of the early universe. Accounting for the instrumental bias, we estimate the KW GRB luminosity evolution, luminosity and isotropic-energy functions, and the evolution of the GRB formation rate, which are in general agreement with those obtained in previous studies.

- We present the catalog of the KVN Calibrator Survey (KVNCS). This first part of the KVNCS is a single-dish radio survey simultaneously conducted at 22 (K band) and 43GHz (Q band) using the Korean VLBI Network (KVN) from 2009 to 2011. A total of 2045 sources are selected from the VLBA Calibrator Survey with an extrapolated flux density limit of 100mJy at the K band. The KVNCS contains 1533 sources in the K band with a flux density limit of 70mJy and 553 sources in the Q band with a flux density limit of 120mJy; it covers the whole sky down to -32.5{deg} in decl. We detected 513 sources simultaneously in the K and Q bands; ~76% of them are flat-spectrum sources (-0.5<={alpha}<=0.5). From the flux-flux relationship, we anticipated that most of the radiation of many of the sources comes from the compact components. The sources listed in the KVNCS therefore are strong candidates for high-frequency VLBI calibrators.

- We have conducted an automated search for galaxy clusters within a contiguous 16deg^2^ I-band survey in the north Galactic hemisphere. A matched filter detection algorithm identifies 444 cluster candidates in the range 0.2<~z<~1.2. The full catalog is presented along with the results from a follow-up spectroscopic survey.
