- We present a catalogue of mean radial velocities for Galactic stars which supplements the catalogue WEB (1998, See Cat. <III/190>) with observations published through december 1990. The catalogue contains new mean velocities for 36145 stars, among which 20574 are new. Only observations obtained with adequate spectral resolution and standardized to the IAU or Wilson (1953, Cat. <III/21>) velocity systems have been used. Entries in the WEB mean radial velocities catalogue have been taken to represent the mean of earlier measurements, to which the new data have been added. The sources of new data are referenced. To make easier the work of users, we have included in our catalogue the results of the catalogue WEB with the agreement of the author. This catalogue supersedes the previous version numbered <III/161>.

- This catalog is intended to list all Galactic S stars having known positions of at least roughly the precision of the Henry Draper catalog. An S star is a star in whose spectrum the bands of the ZrO molecule are detectable, ordinarily without needing sufficient spectral resolution to resolve the individual rotational lines of a band. In addition, stars exhibiting readily detectable LaO in the photographic infrared, where there is no significant ZrO, are known to form a subset of S stars (more extreme in abundances or low temperature), and this catalog includes stars classified only from the infrared. The majority of the stars were, however, discovered on the basis of the (0,0) band, with head near 6474Angstroem, of the red system of ZrO.

- The General Catalog of Variable Stars (GCVS) is the only reference source on all known variable stars. This database is based on the electronically-readable version as distributed by the Sternberg Astronomical Institute and Institute of Astronomy (Russian Acad. Sci.), Moscow. It is the catalog of extragalactic variable stars, an updated version of the list contained in the GCVS (4th edition), Volume V. The total number of entries in this database is 10979 variable stars in 35 stellar systems (including the Magellanic Clouds, the Andromeda Galaxy, etc.). These variables include 144 stars now considered to be non-members of the galaxies in whose fields they lie, and 92 more stars that are possible non-members. The present improved electronic version of the GCVS 4th Edition, Volumes I-V, combined with the Name-Lists of Variable Stars Nos. 67 - 77, is also available from the Sternberg Institute via anonymous ftp to <a href="ftp://ftp.sai.msu.su/pub/groups/cluster/gcvs/gcvs/">ftp://ftp.sai.msu.su/pub/groups/cluster/gcvs/gcvs/</a> and more information is available via the Web at <a href="http://www.sai.msu.su/groups/cluster/gcvs/gcvs/">http://www.sai.msu.su/groups/cluster/gcvs/gcvs/</a>. - Work aimed at compiling detailed catalogs of variable stars in the Galaxy, which has been carried out continuously by Moscow variable-star researchers since 1946 on behalf of the International Astronomical Union, has entered the stage of the publication of the 5th, completely electronic edition of the General Catalog of Variable Stars (GCVS). The GCVS 5.1 is freely accessible on the Internet. The authors recommend citing their paper as a unified reference to the 5th edition of the GCVS. The GCVS is the only reference source on all known variable stars. This version contains the electronically-readable version as distributed by the Sternberg Astronomical Institute and Institute of Astronomy (Russian Acad. Sci.), Moscow. After the publication of Volume III of the 4th edition of the GCVS, the subsequent Name-lists with numbers from 67 to 77 contained only names of variable stars in the GCVS systems, together with their coordinates and variability types. The authors actually started compiling the 5th edition of the GCVS ten years ago, with the 78th Name-list of Variable Stars, which provided (as did all subsequent Name-lists) complete GCVS information for each star (in addition to the variability types, ranges of brightness variations, epochs of brightness maxima or minima, periods, etc.). In all, the 78th-81st Name-lists contain more than 13300 variable stars. The complete revision of information on the coordinates of variable stars (see the Introduction section of the reference paper) was also a part of the transition to the 5th edition. The present electronic version of the GCVS5.1 is available from Sternberg Astronomical Institute (Lomonosov Moscow University) and Institute of Astronomy (Russian Academy of Sciences) at <a href="http://www.sai.msu.su/gcvs/gcvs/">http://www.sai.msu.su/gcvs/gcvs/</a> as a first release of the fifth GCVS edition. Information on the contents and principles of the fifth edition can be found in Samus et al. (2017), the official reference to GCVS 5.1. The GCVS 5.1 version contains data for individual variable objects discovered and named as variable stars by 2021 and located mainly in the Milky Way galaxy. The total number of named variable stars, not counting designated non-existing stars or stars subsequently identified with earlier-named variables, is now 58035. The stars of the GCVS 5.1 are stars of the GCVS fourth edition plus Name-lists Nos. 67-84. The stars from the Name-lists Nos.78-84 are presented in the complete GCVS format. Complete information for stars of the Name-lists Nos. 67-77 is so far provided in the first 20 constellations (Andromeda to Cepheus). In these constellations, the GCVS information has been completely revised with active use of new publications as well as observations retrieved by the GCVS compilers by data mining and used to determine new variability types and new light elements whenever possible. The authors are continuing this work and will introduce new data for the next constellations as soon as they are ready. - This catalog is a compilation of stars that have been suspected of variability but have (mostly) not been finally designated as variables. It is the merging and latest updated version of the compilation of the New Catalog of Suspected Variable Stars (NSV Catalog) originally published in 1982 by Kukarkin et al. and the Supplement to the NSV originally published in 1998 by Kazarovets et al. This version (NSV Release 2) has updated the previous catalog in several ways. The accuracy of coordinates has been drastically improved for the objects in the catalog; for most of them, the authors have revised the photometric and spectroscopic data and updated the remarks. In the cases with no existing finding charts, the authors recovered variability of 2800 stars of the catalog, despite large errors of the previously published coordinates. The data contained in the present catalog include positions, magnitudes, variability types, references to the literature, and spectra. - This data set is the machine-readable version of the fourth edition of the General Catalogue of Variable Stars (Kholopov et al. 1985-1988). The machine version contains the same data as in the first three volumes of the printed catalog, but only the data tables without the textual material (introduction, bibliography, remarks) are included. Modifications to the format of the machine version have been made at the Astronomical Data Center in order to effect a completely homogeneous record structure suitable for full machine processing and sorting. The fourth edition of the General Catalogue of Variable Stars supersedes the third edition (Kukarkin et al. 1969-1970), three supplements (Kukarkin et al. 1971, 1974, 1976) containing data for 5401 new variable stars and improved data for many earlier designated variables, and five namelists (62-66) published in the Information Bulletin of Variable Stars (Kukarkin et al. 1976; Kholopov et al. 1978, 1979, 1981a, 1981b), which included only cross identifications for 2619 new variables. This new edition contains data for 28484 individual objects discovered and named by 1982 and located mainly in the Milky Way galaxy. These data are contained in the first three published volumes. The fourth volume of the fourth edition, published in 1990, contains a table of all variables ordered by right ascension and declination (B1950), a table of variables listed by variability type, and an extensive series of cross-identification tables to alternate designations (see <II/172>). The fifth and final volume will contain data for all presently known variables in external galaxies (including the Magellanic Clouds), extragalactic supernovae, and optically variable quasistellar objects and galactic nuclei (see <II/205>). Data contained in the catalog include star identifier, equatorial position (B1950), annual precession, galactic coordinates, type of variability, maximum and minimum magnitudes, epoch of maximum, period, and spectral type. Since extensive modifications have been made to the record structure of the machine version, users are encouraged to carefully study the brief descriptions given in the document. - Methanol masers are often detected in regions of intense star formation. Several studies in the last decade indicate that they may even be the earliest signpost of a high-mass star-forming region. Their powerful emission makes them very good candidates for observations using both single-dish telescopes and interferometers, the latter allows detailed structural and dynamical study of these objects. We present here a catalogue of all known 6.7GHz methanol masers, discovered both by surveys that targeted possible associated objects and unbiased surveys covering a large fraction of galactic longitudes across the Galactic plane 0.5{deg}<=b<=0.5deg} for most of the regions). The 519 sources which are listed with their kinematic (galactocentric and heliocentric) distance as well as possibly associated IR objects. We find that 6.7GHz methanol masers clearly trace the molecular ring of our Galaxy, where most of the OB associations are located. The present list of masers also reports detections of other masing transitions of methanol as further information for the study of the maser phenomenon. In a further publication we will address some statistical considerations.

- Herbig-Haro (HH) objects are small-scale shock regions intimately associated with star forming regions. The present catalogue includes for all known HH objects: the HH number, previous designations if any, a position, the most probable energy source, and the region and distance. Additionally, extensive notes give a brief description of each object with detailed references to the literature. The catalogue will be updated as developments in the field require.
