The XRT runs only one type of configuration mode/window in a given time interval. The table therefore contains for a given time interval a single record that describes one configuration. A new record is generated when the following is changing within an observation: new operating mode , new pointing mode, or new window configuration. This database table is generated by the Swift Data Center. During operation, it is updated on daily basis. This is a service provided by NASA HEASARC .
SSAP service for CoRot COROT: ("COnvection, ROtation and Transits"), is a mission with two principal objectives: the study of stellar interiors using asteroseismology techniques, and the discovery of extrasolar planets using the transit method. Successfully launched in December 2006, CoRoT has been providing the astronomical community with a number of revolutionary results on the internal structure of stars and on the physical properties of extrasolar planets. The need for an archive for the CoRoT data was identified in the early phases of the project. In March 2003, LAEFF was selected, together with the CDS, to be responsible for the long-term storage and maintenance of the CoRoT Final Archive, which will contain all CoRoT data processed in a homogeneous and uniform way. This Final Archive will represent the legacy of the mission for future generations of researchers and educators. In addition to the Final Archive, efficient data management and data interchange mechanisms have been set up to work during the operational phase of CoRoT. In this framework two types of archives have been defined. - The Mission Archive: Located at the Institut d'Astrophysique Spatiale (IAS) in Paris, the Mission Archive is the only access point for CoRoT data during the proprietary period. - The Public Archives: Containing only publicly available data, these are dynamic archives since new data as well as re-calibrations of previous data will be ingested during the mission lifetime. The Public Archives are being developed at the IAS (Paris), CDS (Strasbourg), NStED (Pasadena, California), and LAEX (Madrid). For the sake of integrity, the data are stored at IAS and remotely accessed from the Public Archives.
Mark-I is a solar spectrophotometer located and operated at Observatorio del Teide (Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain) that provides precise radial velocity observations of the Sun-as-a-star at the Potassium KI 7699A absorption solar line. Observations extend from 1976 to 2012 with only summer campaigns from 1976 to 1983.
TheoSSA provides spectral energy distributions based on model
atmosphere calculations. Currently, we serve results obtained using
the Tübingen NLTE Model Atmosphere Package (TMAP) for hot compact
stars.

VIMOS Public Extragalactic Redshift Survey" (VIPERS) is an ongoing ESO Large Program to map in detail the spatial distribution of normal galaxies over an unprecedented volume of the z~1 Universe. VIPERS is using VIMOS at the VLT to measure 100,000 redshifts for galaxies with red magnitude I(AB) brighter than 22.5 over an area of 24 square degrees. At this redshift, VIPERS fills a unique niche in galaxy surveys, optimizing the combination of 5-band accurate photometry from the CFHTLS with the multiplexing capability of VIMOS. A robust color-color pre-selection allows the survey to focus its measurements on the 0.5 <= z <= 1.2 redshift range, yielding an optimal combination of large volume (5 x 107 h-3 Mpc3) and high effective spectroscopic sampling (> 40%). With these figures, the VIPERS data set represents the z~1 equivalent of state-of-the-art "local" (z<=0.2) surveys.
VIPERS scientific investigations focus on measurements of large-scale structure and cosmological parameters at an epoch when the Universe was about half its current age. At the same time, the survey can explore the ensemble properties of luminous galaxies, groups and clusters with unprecedented statistical accuracy at these redshifts.
