Description:
Spacecraft position and calibrated 3-axis magnetic field samples in

latency corrected UTC and MET time stamps. The VSO CDR is derived from
the Science EDR.

Description:
MAG instrument state (health and mode) as reported by the LRHK
packet. This changes only on packet boundaries so it is kept in a
separate EDR, minimizing repetition of information. Each row in the
LHRK Header EDR corresponds to information extracted from one LHRK
packet.

Description:
This collection contains tables of instrument state as reported by
the MAG Low-Rate Housekeeping (LRHK) packet. It includes the 3-axis
field values (received from the filter and subsampling logic) and the
corresponding AC values.
MESSENGER Magnetic Crustal Field Map Data Collection

Description:
This collection consists of ASCII files containing derived magnetic
field maps and equivalent source dipole arrays for the crustal
magnetic field of Mercury. Zero values (mainly found along the map
edges) indicate no useful data.
This collection contains snapshots of MAG vector samples, or burst
sampling, over a time span of 8 minutes, at a rate of 20 samples per
second for a total of 9600 vector samples. The burst data give
information about waves and turbulent phenomena expected to occur at
the magnetospheric boundaries and elsewhere in association with pickup
processes of volatile species as they are photo-ionized. Typically one
burst period will be recorded every day of orbit operations.
