- We present an Echelle+CCD, high S/N, high resolution (R=20000) spectroscopic atlas of 108 well-known objects representative of the most common types of peculiar and variable stars. The wavelength interval extends from 4600 to 9400{AA}, and includes the RAVE, Gaia and HERMES wavelength ranges. Multi-epoch spectra are provided for the majority of observed stars. A total of 425 spectra of peculiar stars are presented, which have been collected during 56 observing nights between November 1998 and August 2002. The spectra are given in FITS format and heliocentric wavelengths, with accurate subtraction of both the sky background and the scattered light. Auxiliary material useful for custom applications (telluric dividers, spectro-photometric stars, flat-field tracings) is also provided. The atlas aims to provide a homogeneous database of the spectral appearance of stellar peculiarities, a tool useful both for classification purposes and inter-comparison studies. It could also serve the planning for and training of automated classification algorithms designed for RAVE, Gaia, HERMES and other large scale spectral surveys. The spectrum of XX Oph is discussed in some detail as an example of the content of the present atlas.

- We present a spectral catalog for blazars based on the BeppoSAX archive. The sample includes 44 High-energy peaked BL Lacs (HBLs), 14 Low-energy peaked BL Lacs (LBLs), and 28 Flat Spectrum Radio Quasars (FSRQs). A total of 168 LECS, MECS, and PDS spectra were analyzed, corresponding to observations taken in the period 1996-2002. The 0.1-50keV continuum of LBLs and FSRQs is generally fitted by a single power law with Galactic column density.

- We present a systematic spectral analysis of 350 bright gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) observed with the Burst and Transient Source Experiment (BATSE; 30keV-2MeV) with high temporal and spectral resolution. Our sample was selected from the complete set of 2704 BATSE GRBs based on their energy fluence or peak photon flux values to assure good statistics and included 17 short GRBs. To obtain well-constrained spectral parameters, several photon models were used to fit each spectrum.

- The spectral analysis of the RC-catalog of the experiment "Cold" containing 840 radiosources in the interval of right ascension 4-22h are made. 280 spectra of radiosources are presented; 215 spectra are new. The mean spectral index for 196 objects with steep spectra (alpha >= 0 5) and flux densities >12mJy is 0.87+/-0.01. The preliminary optical identification of radiosources with catalogued galaxies is done.

- The present catalogue is the last one of the four catalogues published according to programme of Abastumani Astrophysical Observatory of a massive two-dimensional MK classification of stars in 115 kapteyn Select Areas (KA) of Northen Sky. The catalogue lists the spectral types and luminosity classes for 3880 stars in 23 Kapteyn areas 92-115 through the declination circle of 0{deg}. KA 95 was skipped because of poor quality of observational data. The catalogue is compiled on the basis of the spectral data obtained with the 70-cm meniscus telescope of Abastumani Astrophysical Observatory using the 8{deg} objective prism (dispersion 166{AA}/mm near H{gamma}; in the short-wave region, the spectrum extends up to 3500{AA}). The field of the meniscus telescope is 4.5{deg}x4.5{deg}. The photo material is taken on Kodak IIa-O, hyper-sensitized Kodak IIIa-J and in order to detect also H{alpha} emission stars and M, S, C type stars in the surveyed KA's, hyper-sensitized Kodak IIIa-F plates were also taken. A limiting apparent magnitude in V for stars in question is 12.5 photographic mag. and for M ones - 15.0mag. The data for all KA's are uniform not only in the sense of classification accuracy (the whole classification is done by one person - the author of the present catalogue), but also in the sense of penetration. The errors of our determinations are: +/-0.6 for spectral subtype and +/-0.5 for luminosity class. The stars in the KA's are arranged in the Catalogue by increasing right ascension. The stars are numbered according to zones of 1{deg} in declination. The printed catalogue is provided with suitable stellar charts for separate KA's reproduced from the Lick Catalogue. The reference system on the charts refers to 1950 epoch and it is plotted according to the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) catalogue.

- The present catalogue is compiled on the basis of the spectral data obtained with the 70-cm meniscus telescope of Abastumani Astrophysical Observatory using the 8{deg} objective prism (dispersion 166{AA}/mm near H{gamma}; in the short-wave region, the spectrum extends up to 3500{AA}). We have confined ourselves to relatively bright stars (11.5 photographic mag.), whose spectra were obtained by us on Kodak IIa-O plates. The spectra were broadened up to 0.4mm for an exposure of 20min. We succeeded to carry out a quite homogeneous mass two-dimensional MK classification, separating also peculiar stars. In order to detect also H{alpha} emission stars and M, S, C type stars in the surveyed Kapteyn areas (KA), panchromatic plates were also taken. The catalogue contains 173 stars with peculiarities in the spectrum, in particular Ap, Am, BaII and composite spectrum stars, as well as 30 Be, 800 M-type, and a few S, R, N and WR stars. The data for all KA's are uniform not only in the sense of classification accuracy (the whole classification is done by one person - the author of the present catalogue), but also in the sense of penetration: the areas were photographed both on Kodak IIa-O and ORWO 2P-3 plates with the same maximum exposure for each plate and they all cover areas of 4.5x4.5{deg}. The errors of our determinations are: +/-0.6 for spectral subtype and +/-0.5 for luminosity class. The stars in the KA's are arranged in the Catalogue by increasing right ascension. The stars are numbered according to zones of 1{deg} in declination. The printed catalogue is provided with suitable stellar charts for separate KA's reproduced from the Lick Catalogue. The reference system on the charts refers to 1950 epoch and it is plotted according to the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) catalogue.

Kodak IIa-O, Kodak IIIa-J and Kodak IIIa-F plates were used. A limiting apparent magnitude in V for the stars is between 12.5 photographic mag. and 15.0 photographic mag. for M stars. The errors of our determinations are: +/-0.6 for spectral subtype and +/-0.5 for luminosity class. The catalogue contains 558 objects with peculiarities in the spectrum Ap, Am, BaII and composite spectrum stars, 86 emission stars O, B, M and objects with H{alpha}-emission as well as 453 M and 36 C-stars.Among 558 peculiar stars an overwhelming majority, namely 549, are first found. The stars in the Catalogue are arranged in the order of increasing right ascension. The stars are numbered according to zones of 1{deg} in declination. The printed catalogue is provided with suitable stellar charts reproduced from the Lick Catalogue. The reference system on the charts refers to 1950 epoch and it is plotted according to the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) catalogue. Clusters NGC 2168, NGC 1969 and OLC 0436 Whose sites in the charts are denoted with the circles, are supplies with the charts reproduced from relatively large-scale plates taken on the meniscus telescope.

- Spectral classification for 631 {rho}Puppis stars

- The {rho}Puppis stars are mid-F-type stars that show peculiar chemical-abundance patterns similar to those of the Am stars. Typically they exhibit overabundances of iron-peak elements such as Fe and Ni and s- and r-process elements such as Sr and Eu, and underabundances of certain other elements including He, Ca, and Sc. It has been proposed that these stars are evolving Am stars passing through the short-lived phase that occurs between the re-establishment of convection and the consequent erasure of their chemical peculiarities. In this paper we suggest a second hypothesis: these stars may have acquired their peculiar abundance patterns in a fashion similar to the Barium stars, i.e., they may have gained the s-process element enhancements via mass transfer from a once asymptotic giant-branch companion star, now turned white dwarf. This study will detail our efforts to investigate the {rho}Puppis stars with regard to these two hypotheses, with a view to understanding these stars and their significance in terms of stellar evolution. We have performed a spectral classification survey, and a detailed chemical-abundance analysis of selected {rho}Puppis stars. This paper gives an overview of the {rho}Puppis stars and describes the spectral classification survey which has increased the number of {rho}Puppis stars currently known from 6 to 49. A future paper will describe the chemical-abundance analysis which should provide insight into the nature of these stars.
