- The U.S. Naval Observatory is in the process of making new reductions of the Astrographic Catalogue (AC) using a modern reference system, the ACRS, which represents the system of the FK5. The data from the San Fernando Zone, whose plates are centered between declinations -3 and -9 degrees (eq. 1900), have been analyzed for scale, rotation, tilt, coma, magnitude equation, radial distortion and distortions introduced by the use of reseaux in the Carte du Ciel program. The result is a positional catalog of over 225,000 stars on eq. J2000.0, epoch of observation. Additionally, all stars have been matched with the Tycho Input Catalog (revised); those numbers have been added for additional identification purposes.

- This machine-readable SAO catalog from the Astronomical Data Center is based on an original binary version of the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory Star Catalog (SAO, SAO Staff 1966). Subsequent improvements by T. A. Nagy (1979) included the addition of equatorial coordinates in radians and cross-identifications from the Table of Correspondences SAO/HD/DM/GC (Morin 1973). As a prelude to creation of the 1984 version of the SAO, a new version of the SAO-HD-GC-DM Cross Index was prepared (Roman, Warren, and Schofield 1983). The 1984 version of the SAO contained the corrected and extended cross identifications, all errata published up to January 1984 and known to the ADC, numerous errors forwarded to the ADC by colleagues, and errors discovered at the ADC during the course of this work. Clayton A. Smith of the U. S. Naval Observatory provided J2000.0 positions and proper motions for the SAO stars. Published and unpublished errors discovered in the previous version (1984) have been corrected (up to May 1991). The catalog contains SAO number; the right ascension and declination with a B1950.0 equinox and epoch; annual proper motion and its standard deviation, photographic and visual magnitudes; spectral type; references to sources; the Durchmusterung (DM) identifier if the star is listed in the Bonner DM (BD), Cordoba DM (CD), or Cape Photographic DM (CP); component identification; The Henry Draper (Extension) (HD or HDE) number; and J2000 positions and proper motions. Multiple-star component identifications have been added to stars where more than one SAO entry has the same DM number. The Henry Draper Extension (HDE) numbers have been added for stars found in both volumes of the extension. Data for duplicate SAO entries (those referring to the same star) have been flagged. J2000 positions in usual units and in radians have been added.

- This paper provides an analysis of astrometric measurements of the main Saturnian satellites made thanks to CCD observations performed in 1995 at the Laboratorio Nacional de Astrofisica at Itajuba in Brazil. The astrometric reduction is discussed, especially the small corrections done here, but most of time neglected elsewhere. A catalog of 6006 differential positions has been obtained. They have been compared to different ephemerides, the Vienne & Duriez ephemerides (TASS 1.7, 1995A&A...297..588V, 1997 Cat. <J/A+A/324/366>), the Harper & Taylor (1994A&A...284..619H) ephemerides and the Dourneau (1993A&A...267..292D) ephemerides. These observations provide a large set of modern observations, and appear to be of good precision. This accuracy is needed for future use of these data to improve the dynamical models. These positions are included in the data base NSDC dedicated to the natural satellites (ftp://ftp.bdl.fr/pub/NSDC/saturn/raw_data/position/).

- We present a remeasurement of old photographic plates, providing important raw data for dynamical studies of the Saturnian satellite system. The unprecedentedly accurate realization of the Gaia reference frame allows us to make a precise calibration of digitized astronegatives of the Saturnian satellite images. We reprocessed 357 astronegatives taken with the 26-inch refractor and the normal astrograph of the Pulkovo Observatory between 1972 and 2007 to obtain the positions of the main Saturnian moons in the second Gaia data release (Gaia DR2) system. Photographic plates were digitized with the Pulkovo Mobile Digitizing Device (MDD) scanner. The New Astrometric Reduction of Old Observations (NAROO) digitizer at the Paris Observatory was used to calibrate the scanned images. Satellite image centering and astrometric reduction were performed. In total, 6487 positions (equatorial coordinates) have been determined with an accuracy of 50mas. This is confirmed by a comparison of our data with modern ephemerides. The verification of the results was performed using data from past close approaches by Saturnian satellites to Gaia reference stars, showing the adequacy of the current residual analysis. A joint review of the Pulkovo and the United States Naval Observatory (USNO) intersatellite positions allows us to conclude about the existence of faint systematic effects in the satellite theories of motions at the 10mas level.
