REDCAT is the release of the provisional extragalactic catalogue constructed from the "Deep Near Infrared Southern Sky Survey" (DENIS). This catalogue contains 20260 galaxies with coordinates and I-band photometry (magnitude, diameter, axis ratio, position angle and a parameter related to the morphological type). In this new version photometric parameters are homogeneized to I-band measurements by Mathewson and Ford (1997, Cat. <J/ApJS/107/97>). Additional information on galaxies cross-identified with known objects can be obtained through the LEDA database at: http://www-obs.univ-lyon1.fr/leda/leda-consult.html This catalogue is the result of a tremendous work done along the chain Chile-Paris-Lyon. Many people are involved in this programm conducted by the P.I. N. Epchtein. We will not take the risk to mention them all. Their names will appear in forthcoming papers. The distribution on the sky is made of strips of 30 degrees in declination (180 frames per strip) south of +02{deg}. If you are satisfied with this catalogue, try to push the Community to support the DENIS project. Your suggestions are welcome for any improvement of this first release.

We present the first catalog of active galactic nuclei (AGNs) detected by the Large Area Telescope (LAT), corresponding to 11 months of data collected in scientific operation mode. The First LAT AGN Catalog (1LAC) includes 671 {gamma}-ray sources located at high Galactic latitudes (|b|>10{deg}) that are detected with a test statistic greater than 25 and associated statistically with AGNs. Some LAT sources are associated with multiple AGNs, and consequently, the catalog includes 709 AGNs, comprising 300 BL Lacertae objects, 296 flat-spectrum radio quasars, 41 AGNs of other types, and 72 AGNs of unknown type. We also classify the blazars based on their spectral energy distributions as archival radio, optical, and X-ray data permit. In addition to the formal 1LAC sample, we provide AGN associations for 51 low-latitude LAT sources and AGN "affiliations" (unquantified counterpart candidates) for 104 high-latitude LAT sources without AGN associations.

We propose new estimates of the secular aberration drift, mainly due to the rotation of the Solar System about the Galactic center, based on up-to-date VLBI observations and and improved method of outlier elimination. We fit degree-2 vector spherical harmonics to extragalactic radio source proper motion field derived from geodetic VLBI observations spanning 1979-2013. We pay particular attention to the outlier elimination procedure to remove outliers from (i) radio source coordinate time series and (ii) the proper motion sample. We obtain more accurate values of the Solar system acceleration compared to those in our previous paper. The acceleration vector is oriented towards the Galactic center within ~7{deg}. The component perpendicular to the Galactic plane is statistically insignificant. We show that an insufficient cleaning of the data set can lead to strong variations in the dipole amplitude and orientation, and statistically biased results.

A systematic search for disklike edge-on galaxies with a diameter larger than a=40 arcsec and major-to-minor axis ratio a/b>7 has been carried out by means of Palomar Observatory Sky Survey and ESO/SERC survey. As a result, we present new catalog of a flat galaxies (FGC) containing 4455 objects and covering about 56% of the whole sky for the first time. The catalog is assigned to study large-scale cosmic streamings and another problems of observational cosmology. Due to a better quality of the photographic emulsions used for the southern sky survey, the galaxies measured on ESO/SERC films extend to a surface magnitude slightly fainter than the same galaxies measured on POSS prints. So we present the catalog data separately for northern sky (DEC from -17.5 to +90 degrees) - FLAT GALAXY CATALOG , FGC, N = 2573 and for southern sky (DEC from -90 to -17.5 degrees) - SOUTHERN EXTENSION OF FLAT GALAXY CATALOG, FGCE, N = 1882. There are about 200 galaxies in a common region which were found and measured independently on POSS prints and ESO/SERC films. They were included in FGC, not in FGCE. The mean ratio <a(ESO)/a(POSS)> for them is equal to 1.26+/-0.4. This value is near to the result obtained by Lauberts (1982). Making some statistics it is easy to exclude FGCE galaxies with a <50arcsec to have the same depth of the sample. The Appendix to Flat Galaxy Catalog - Addendum - contains the data of 291 galaxies. They were selected in preliminary survey but rejected after more precise diameter measurements because of violation the a/b >= 7 criterion. In every case, these galaxies can be used in different observational programs.

We provide flux-limited and volume-limited galaxy group and cluster catalogues, based on the spectroscopic sample of the SDSS data release 10 galaxies. We used a modified friends-of-friends (FoF) method with a variable linking length in the transverse and radial directions to identify as many realistic groups as possible. The flux-limited catalogue incorporates galaxies down to m_r_=17.77mag. It includes 588193 galaxies and 82458 groups. The volume-limited catalogues are complete for absolute magnitudes down to M_r_= -18.0, -18.5, -19.0, -19.5, -20.0, -20.5, and -21.0; the completeness is achieved within different spatial volumes, respectively. Our analysis shows that flux-limited and volume-limited group samples are well compatible to each other, especially for the larger groups/clusters. Dynamical mass estimates, based on radial velocity dispersions and group extent in the sky, are added to the extracted groups. The catalogues can also be accessed via http://cosmodb.to.ee.

This is a new reduction of FOCAT-S photographic catalogue of southern stars. This reduction has to replace the preceding one. The differences from previous version are as follows: 1. The new version was sorted according right ascension of stars inside 10-degree declination zone; 2. New proper motions were calculated for all almost stars. New Astrographic Catalogue plate reduction was developed for this aim. The average rms of new FOCAT-S proper motions is 0.002 - 0.003 "/year; 3. The number of the Astrographic Catalogue star positions used for the proper motion calculation is added; 4. The magnitude (mag) and spectral type (Sp) columns were revised significantly: some errors were corrected; stars identified in C.S.I. catalogue have got Mag, Sp from this catalogue as it was in previous version. Other stars have got Mag, Sp from PPM-S catalogue. 5. The list of Durchmusterung star numbers was changed. Now it contains the Cape Photographic Durchmusterung (CPD) numbers for stars in [-90, -23] declination zones; Cordoba Durchmusterung (CoD) star numbers are used only if it was impossible to identify star in BD or CPD. Format of this column was changed also. 6. PPM catalogue star numbers were added.

The catalog of positions and B-magnitudes of stars and galaxies of the southern sky (from -20{deg} to +2{deg}) was created as a part of the FON (Russian abbreviation Photographic Sky Survey) project at the Ulugh Beg Astronomical Institute (UBAI) of the Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences. The data accumulated in the Photographic Archive of the UBAI were used. The total number of processed plates is 1963. Astronegatives were digitized with Epson Expression 10000XL scanners in the 1200 dpi scanning mode. The majority of plates have a size of 30x30cm. The catalog contains the data on 13 413 268 stars and galaxies with B<=17.5m at the epoch of 1984.97. The coordinates of stars and galaxies were obtained in the Tycho-2 reference system, and B-magnitudes were determined in the system of photoelectric standards. The mean internal errors of the catalog are {sigma}_RA,DE_=0.23" and {sigma}_B_=0.15mag for all objects or {sigma}_RA,DE_=0.085" and {sigma}_B_=0.054mag for the objects in the B=7-14mag range. The convergence between the catalog and Tycho-2 is characterized by the following values: 0.042" and 0.16m. The mean-square difference in coordinates from the catalog and from UCAC-4 is {sigma}_RA,DE_=0.26" (9 892 697 objects, or 73.75% of stars and galaxies, were identified).

The catalog of equatorial coordinates {alpha} and {delta} and B-magnitudes of stars of the northern sky (from -4{deg} to +90{deg}) was created as a part of the FON project at the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The data accumulated in the Joint Digital Archive of the Ukrainian Virtual Observatory were used. The total number of processed plates is 2260. Astronegatives were digitized with Microtek ScanMaker 9800XL TMA and Epson Expression 10000XL scanners in the 1200 dpi scanning mode. The majority of plates have a size of 30x30cm (13000x13000-pixels). The catalog contains the data on 19451751 stars and galaxies with B<=16.5m at the epoch of 1988.1. The coordinates of stars and galaxies were obtained in the Tycho-2 reference system, and B-magnitudes were determined in the system of photoelectric standards. The mean internal errors of the catalog are {simag}_RA,DE_=0.23" and {sigma}_B_=0.14mag for all objects or {simag}_RA,DE_=0.10" and {sigma}_B_=0.07mag for stars in the B=7-14mag range. The convergence between the catalog and Tycho-2 is characterized by the following values: 0.06" and 0.15m. The mean-square difference in coordinates from the catalog and from UCAC-4 is {simag}_RA,DE_= 0.30" (18 742 932 objects, or 96.36% of stars and galaxies, were cross-identified).

The FK4 was an attempt to establish a fundamental system of stellar positions and proper motions for the 1950 equinox using as much position data as were available. Most of the stars are brighter than 7.0 mag. To increase the star density in some regions of the sky, positions and proper motions for additional stars were established on the same system. This catalog contains seven data files, six for different equinoxes (1950, 1955, 1960, 1965, 1970, and 1975) and one for the supplemental stars. The 1950 and 1975 files contain the complete FK4 catalog (1535 stars); the others contain only 52 polar stars. In addition to a header record, the primary catalog contains for each star an identification number; the magnitude (maximum for a variable star); a variability flag, the minimum magnitude for a variable or the magnitude of the secondary for a double star; the HD spectral type and the type for the companion or a second type for a variable star; the position and the change and acceleration of the position; the proper motion and its change with time; the mean epoch of the observations for both right ascension and declination; the standard deviations of the position and proper motion; the numbers of the star in the Boss General Catalog, the N30 catalog, and in the Durchmusterungs; and the parallax. The supplement has a flag to indicate duplicity but no information about variability or the second component. It has no information about the temporal change of the position and proper motion and does not list the N30 and Durchmusterung numbers. It also omits the mean epoch for the observations.

Using the data observed with the Photoelectric Astrolabe Mark II of the Beijing Astronomical Observatory (PPA) during the period from 1982 to 1990, the Fourth Preliminary Catalogue of Stars (PACP4) have been Compiled. It consists of 1969 stars including 650 FK5 stars and 1319 GC stars. The mean precisions of position corrections in right ascension and declination are 4.1 ms and 0.067", respectively. The declinations are from +11 deg to +69 deg. The magnitudes are from 0.1 to 7.3. The mean epoch of observations is 1986.8.
