- We present a model using both strong and weak gravitational lensing of the galaxy cluster MACS J0416.1-2403, constrained using spectroscopy from the Grism Lens-Amplified Survey from Space (GLASS) and Hubble Frontier Fields (HFF) imaging data. We search for emission lines in known multiply imaged sources in the GLASS spectra, obtaining secure spectroscopic redshifts of 30 multiple images belonging to 15 distinct source galaxies. The GLASS spectra provide the first spectroscopic measurements for five of the source galaxies. The weak lensing signal is acquired from 884 galaxies in the F606W HFF image. By combining the weak lensing constraints with 15 multiple image systems with spectroscopic redshifts and nine multiple image systems with photometric redshifts, we reconstruct the gravitational potential of the cluster on an adaptive grid. The resulting map of total mass density is compared with a map of stellar mass density obtained from the deep Spitzer Frontier Fields imaging data to study the relative distribution of stellar and total mass in the cluster. We find that the projected stellar mass to total mass ratio, f*, varies considerably with the stellar surface mass density. The mean projected stellar mass to total mass ratio is <f*>=0.009+/-0.003 (stat.), but with a systematic error as large as 0.004-0.005, dominated by the choice of the initial mass function. We find agreement with several recent measurements of f* in massive cluster environments. The lensing maps of convergence, shear, and magnification are made available to the broader community in the standard HFF format.

- We determine the global star formation rate (SFR) density at 0.7<z<1.9 using emission-line-selected galaxies identified in Hubble Space Telescope-Near Infrared Camera and Multi-Object Spectrograph (HST-NICMOS) grism spectroscopy observations. Observing in a pure parallel mode throughout HST Cycles 12 and 13, our survey covers ~104arcmin^2^ from which we select 80 galaxies with likely redshifted H{alpha} emission lines. In several cases, a somewhat weaker [OIII] doublet emission is also detected.

- We present catalogs of globular cluster candidates for the 100 galaxies of the Advanced Camera for Surveys Virgo Cluster Survey, a large program to carry out imaging of early-type members of the Virgo Cluster using the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) on the Hubble Space Telescope. We describe the procedure used to select bona fide globular cluster candidates out of the full list of detections based on model-based clustering methods with the use of expected contamination catalogs constructed using blank field observations and which are customized for each galaxy. We also present the catalogs of expected contaminants for each of our target galaxies. For each detected source we measure its position, magnitudes in the F475W (~Sloan g) and F850LP (~Sloan z) bandpasses, and half-light radii by fitting point-spread function convolved King models to the observed light distribution. These measurements are presented for 20375 sources, of which 12763 are likely to be globular clusters. Finally, we detail the calculation of the aperture corrections adopted for the globular cluster photometry.

- Images from the Hubble Space Telescope Advanced Camera for surveys are used to carry out a new photometric study of the globular clusters (GCs) in M104, the Sombrero galaxy. The primary focus of our study is the characteristic distribution function of linear sizes [size distribution function (SDF)] of the GCs. We measure the effective radii for 652 clusters with point spread function-convolved King and Wilson dynamical model fits. The SDF is remarkably similar to those measured for other large galaxies of all types, adding strong support to the view that it is a 'universal' feature of GC systems. We use the Sombrero and Milky Way data and the formation models of Baumgardt & Kroupa (2007MNRAS.380.1589B) to develop a more general interpretation of the SDF for GCs.

- We present g and z photometry and size estimates for globular clusters (GCs) in the massive Virgo elliptical NGC 4649 (M60) using a five-pointing Hubble Space Telescope/Advanced Camera for Surveys mosaic. The metal-poor GCs show a monotonic negative metallicity gradient of -0.43+/-0.10dex per dex in radius over the full radial range of the data, out to ~24kpc. There is evidence for substantial color substructure among the metal-rich GCs. The metal-poor GCs have typical sizes ~0.4pc larger than the metal-rich GCs out to large galactocentric distances (>~20kpc), favoring an intrinsic explanation for the size difference rather than projection effects. There is no clear relation between half-light radius and galactocentric distance beyond ~15kpc, suggesting that the sizes of GCs are not generically set by tidal limitation. Finally, we identify ~20 candidate ultracompact dwarfs that extend down to surprisingly faint absolute magnitudes (M_z_~-8.5), and may bridge the gap between this class and "extended clusters" in the Local Group. Three of the brighter candidates have published radial velocities and can be confirmed as bona fide ultracompact dwarfs; follow-up spectroscopy will determine the nature of the remainder of the candidates.

- NGC 5846 is a giant elliptical galaxy with a previously well studied globular cluster system (GCS), known to have a bimodal colour distribution with a remarkably high red fraction. Here we revisit the central galaxy regions searching for new globular cluster (GC) candidates, and measure magnitudes, colours and sizes for them. We also search for their X-ray counterparts. Methods: We use archival Hubble Space Telescope WFPC2 images, from which we modelled and subtracted the host light distribution to increase the available sample of GCs. We performed photometry on the central objects, and measured sizes and coordinates for the entire GC system known in this galaxy. Results: We detect two dozen previously unknown GC candidates in the central reg ions. Reliable sizes are obtained for about 60 GCs; their typical effective radii are in the range 3-5pc. The largest clusters are located in the central regions. We find 7 X-ray counterparts to GCs, most of them in the central region. They are among the most luminous X-ray sources in NGC 5846. They are also optically luminous, compact and belong to the red subpopulation. Conclusions: The GCS of NGC 5846 is composed of relatively luminous X-ray sources.

- We present a table of redshifts for 2907 galaxies and stars in the 145arcmin^2^ HST ACS GOODS-North, making this the most spectroscopically complete redshift sample obtained to date in a field of this size. We also include the redshifts, where available, in a table containing just under 7000 galaxies from the ACS area with K_s,AB_<24.5 measured from a deep K_s_ image obtained with WIRCam on the CFHT, as well as in a table containing 1016 sources with NUV_AB_<25 and 478 sources with FUV_AB_<25.5 (there is considerable overlap) measured from the deep GALEX images in the ACS area. Finally, we include the redshifts, where available, in a table containing the 1199 24um sources to 80uJy measured from the wider area Spitzer GOODS-North. The redshift identifications are greater than 90% complete to magnitudes of F435W_AB_=24.5, F850LP_AB_=23.3, and K_s,AB_=21.5, and to 24um fluxes of 250uJy. An extensive analysis of these data appear in a companion paper, but here we test the efficiency of color-selection techniques to identify populations of high-redshift galaxies and active galactic nuclei. We also examine the feasibility of doing tomography of the intergalactic medium with a 30m telescope.

- We present a UV to mid-infrared multi-wavelength catalog in the CANDELS/GOODS-S field, combining the newly obtained CANDELS HST/WFC3 F105W, F125W, and F160W data with existing public data. The catalog is based on source detection in the WFC3 F160W band. The F160W mosaic includes the data from CANDELS deep and wide observations as well as previous ERS and HUDF09 programs. The mosaic reaches a 5{sigma} limiting depth (within an aperture of radius 0.17") of 27.4, 28.2, and 29.7 AB for CANDELS wide, deep, and HUDF regions, respectively. The catalog contains 34930 sources with the representative 50% completeness reaching 25.9, 26.6, and 28.1 AB in the F160W band for the three regions. In addition to WFC3 bands, the catalog also includes data from UV (U band from both CTIO/MOSAIC and VLT/VIMOS), optical (HST/ACS F435W, F606W, F775W, F814W, and F850LP), and infrared (HST/WFC3 F098M, VLT/ISAAC Ks, VLT/HAWK-I Ks, and Spitzer/IRAC 3.6, 4.5, 5.8, 8.0{mu}m) observations. The catalog is validated via stellar colors, comparison with other published catalogs, zero-point offsets determined from the best-fit templates of the spectral energy distribution of spectroscopically observed objects, and the accuracy of photometric redshifts. The catalog is able to detect unreddened star-forming (passive) galaxies with stellar mass of 10^10^M_{sun}_ at a 50% completeness level to z~3.4 (2.8), 4.6 (3.2), and 7.0 (4.2) in the three regions. As an example of application, the catalog is used to select both star-forming and passive galaxies at z~2-4 via the Balmer break. It is also used to study the color-magnitude diagram of galaxies at 0<z<4.

- We present a sample of 224 stars that emit H{alpha} (H{alpha} stars) in the Andromeda galaxy (M31). The stars were selected from ~5000 spectra, collected as part of the Spectroscopic and Photometric Landscape of Andromeda's Stellar Halo survey using Keck II/DEIMOS. We used six-filter Hubble Space Telescope photometry from the Panchromatic Hubble Andromeda Treasury survey to classify and investigate the properties of the H{alpha} stars. We identified five distinct categories of H{alpha} star: B-type main-sequence (MS) stars, 'transitioning'-MS (T-MS) stars, red core He burning (RHeB) stars, non-C-rich asymptotic giant branch (AGB) stars, and C-rich AGB stars. We found that ~12 per cent of B-type stars exhibit H{alpha} emission (Be stars). The frequency of Be to all B stars is known to vary with the metallicity of their environment. Comparing this proportion of Be stars with other environments around the Local Group, the result could indicate that M31 is more metal-rich than the Milky Way. We predict that the 17 T-MS H{alpha} stars are Be stars evolving off the MS with fading H{alpha} emission. We separated RHeB from AGB H{alpha} stars. We conclude that the 61 RHeB and AGB stars are likely to be long-period variables. We found that ~14 per cent of C-rich AGB stars (C stars) emit H{alpha}, which is an upper limit for the ratio of C-rich Miras to C stars. This catalogue of H{alpha} stars will be useful to constrain stellar evolutionary models, calibrate distance indicators for intermediate-age populations, and investigate the properties of M31.

- File flanking.dat contains Unpublished Catalogue of Galaxies identified by the DEEP Team in the Flanking Fields. This is the source catalogue that Vogt et al. (1997ApJ...479L.121V), Phillips et al. (1997ApJ...489..543P), Guzman et al. (1997ApJ...489..559G), and Mendez & Guzman (1998A&A...333..106M) used to select objects. The photometry in this catalogue was carried out using circular apertures of 3 arcsec diameter, as described by Phillips et al. (1997ApJ...489..543P). These will present small differences (~0.12mag, rms) relative to published values for the sample of 51 compact galaxies that were analysed by Phillips et al. (1997ApJ...489..543P) and Guzman et al. (1997ApJ...489..559G). This is because for the papers, the I(814) magnitudes were recalculated using elliptical apertures to 8 arcsec. The differences should only be significant in the case of galaxies with larger apparent sizes or with elongated shapes.
