- This catalog includes most of the stars from the 1900.0 Cordoba Zone Catalogues B and C in the zone -30 deg. -35 deg. at the equinox of 1925.0. Some of the fainter Cordoba stars have been omitted in the rather crowded regions in the Milky Way. The aim was to provide accurate places for an average of 9 to 10 stars per square degree as a reference for a rereduction of the AG positions. Most of the stars have visual magnitudes between 7 and 10. Positions and proper motions have been supplied from the General Catalogue for those stars that were too bright for accurate measurement on photographic plates. The positions are on the FK3 system for the equinox of 1950.0. The probable errors of the positions are nominally +/- 0.15" in both right ascension and declination. That of the proper motions should not exceed +/- 1.4"/century, or +/-14 in the units in which the proper motions expressed in arc are given in the catalog.

- There are 513 entries corresponding to 513 SEDs of 410 carbon stars and related objects, and 70 Ba II stars. Absolute magnitude bolometric (Col. 7) are given for 348 348 (C & rel.) + 65 (Ba II) entries. Together with the effective temperatures previously obtained (Col. 5), they were used to draw the local HR diagram and the luminosity function for galactic carbon giants and related objects in the Sun vicinity. Also given in column 6, the apparent bolometric magnitudes, and in column 8 as ``remarks'', the variation phase information whenever available, the detection of circumstellar extinction and/or emission, the presence of Tc; the J-type, CH stars, carbon-Cepheids etc., are also shown. Our photometric solutions (photometric type in Col. 3 and interstellar extinction at J in Col. 4: to be multiplied by 1.145 to obtain E(B-V)).

- The Carina Nebula is an active star-forming region in the southern sky that is of particular interest due to the presence of a large number of massive stars in a wide array of evolutionary stages. Here, we present the results of the spectroscopic analysis of 82 B-type stars and 33 O-type stars that were observed in 2013 and 2014. For 82 B-type stars without line blending, we fit model spectra from the Tlusty BSTAR2006 grid to the observed profiles of H{gamma} and He {lambda}{lambda}4026, 4388, and 4471 to measure the effective temperatures, surface gravities, and projected rotational velocities. We also measure the masses, ages, radii, bolometric luminosities, and distances of these stars. From the radial velocities measured in our sample, we find 31 single lined spectroscopic binary candidates. We find a high dispersion of radial velocities among our sample stars, and we argue that the Carina Nebula stellar population has not yet relaxed and become virialized.

- We present photometry of 30 Galactic RR Lyrae variables taken with HST WFC3/IR for the Carnegie-Chicago Hubble Program. These measurements form the base of the distance-ladder measurements that comprise a pure Population II base to a measurement of Ho at an accuracy of 3%. These data are taken with the same instrument and filter (F160W) as our observations of RR Lyrae stars in external galaxies so as to minimize sources of systematic error in our calibration of the extragalactic distance scale. We calculate mean magnitudes based on one to three measurements for each RR Lyrae star using star-by-star templates generated from densely time-sampled data at optical and midinfrared wavelengths. We use four RR Lyrae stars from our sample with well-measured HST parallaxes to determine a zero-point. This zero-point will soon be improved with the large number of precise parallaxes to be provided by Gaia. We also provide preliminary calibration with the TGAS and Gaia DR2 data, and all three zero points are in agreement, to within their uncertainties.

- Following the first discovery of a planet orbiting a giant star in 2002, we started the CORALIE radial-velocity search for companions around evolved stars (CASCADES). We present the observations of three stars conducted at the 1.2m Leonard Euler Swiss telescope at La Silla Observatory, Chile, using the CORALIE spectrograph. We aim to detect planetary companions to intermediate-mass G- and K- type evolved stars and perform a statistical analysis of this population. We searched for new planetary systems around the stars HD22532 (TIC200851704), HD64121 (TIC264770836), and HD69123 (TIC146264536). We have followed a volume-limited sample of 641 red giants since 2006 to obtain high-precision radial-velocity measurements. We used the Data & Analysis Center for Exoplanets (DACE) platform to perform a radial-velocity analysis to search for periodic signals in the line profile and activity indices, to distinguish between planetary-induced radial-velocity variations and stellar photospheric jitter, and to search for significant signals in the radial-velocity time series to fit a corresponding Keplerian model. In this paper, we present the survey in detail, and we report on the discovery of the first three planets of the sample around the giant stars HD22532, HD64121, and HD69123.

The Galactic latitudes lie within the range +27 and +68. The A-F stars, with blue magnitudes between 14 and 17, were identified on low-dispersion objective-prism plates taken with the Burell Schmidt telescope. A large fraction of these A-F stars are expected to belong to Population II.

- We present 855 cataclysmic variable candidates detected by the Catalina Real-time Transient Survey (CRTS) of which at least 137 have been spectroscopically confirmed and 705 are new discoveries. The sources were identified from the analysis of five years of data, and come from an area covering three quarters of the sky. We study the amplitude distribution of the dwarf novae cataclysmic variables (CVs) discovered by CRTS during outburst, and find that in quiescence they are typically 2mag fainter compared to the spectroscopic CV sample identified by the Sloan Digital Sky Survey. However, almost all CRTS CVs in the SDSS footprint have ugriz photometry. We analyse the spatial distribution of the CVs and find evidence that many of the systems lie at scale heights beyond those expected for a Galactic thin disc population. We compare the outburst rates of newly discovered CRTS CVs with the previously known CV population, and find no evidence for a difference between them. However, we find significant evidence for a systematic difference in orbital period distribution. We discuss the CVs found below the orbital period minimum and argue that many more are yet to be identified among the full CRTS CV sample. We cross-match the CVs with archival X-ray catalogues and find that most of the systems are dwarf novae rather than magnetic CVs.

- The Catalog of bright diffuse Galactic nebulae was compiled in the frame of a thesis investigating the spatial distribution and the geometrical properties of bright diffuse Galactic nebulae, together with some inquiries into the interstellar absorption problem. It is a mostly complete compilation of the knowledge about bright galactic nebulae around 1945. Global parameters derived for each nebula include a classification, the apparent dimensions, and distance estimations; the Catalog includes also extensive notes, and its bibliography covers the period 1877 to 1941.
