- We present Johnson B CCD photometry for the whole sample of galaxies of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) Survey Lists I and II (Cat. <J/ApJS/95/387> and <J/ApJS/105/343>). They constitute a well-defined and complete sample of galaxies in the Local Universe with active star formation. The data refer to 191 S0 to Irr galaxies at an averaged redshift of 0.027, and complement the already published Gunn r, J and K photometries. (B-r) colours are also computed.

- EE Cep is one of few eclipsing binary systems with a dark, dusty disk around an invisible object similar to epsilon Aur. The system is characterized by grey and asymmetric eclipses every 5.6yr, with a significant variation in their photometric depth, ranging from ~0.5mag to ~2.0mag. The main aim of the observational campaign of the EE Cep eclipse in 2014 was to test the model of disk precession (Galan et al. 2012). We expected that this eclipse would be one of the deepest with a depth of ~2m.mag. We collected multicolor observations from almost 30 instruments located in Europe and North America. This photometric data covers 243 nights during and around the eclipse. We also analyse the low- and high- resolution spectra from several instruments. The eclipse was shallow with a depth of 0m.71 in V-band. The multicolor photometry illustrates small color changes during the eclipse with a total amplitude of order ~+0.15mag in B-I color index. The linear ephemeris for this system is updated by including new times of minima, measured from the three most recent eclipses at epochs E=9, 10 and 11. New spectroscopic observations were acquired, covering orbital phases around the eclipse, which were not observed in the past and increased the data sample, filling some gaps and giving a better insight into the evolution of the H{alpha} and NaI spectral line profiles during the primary eclipse. The eclipse of EE Cep in 2014 was shallower than expected 0.71mag instead of ~2.0mag. This means that our model of disk precession needs revision.

- We present the first extrasolar planet observations from the 10.4-m Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC). We used the Optical System for Imaging and low Resolution Integrated Spectroscopy (OSIRIS) tunable filter imager on the GTC to acquire high-precision, narrow-band photometry of the transits of the giant exoplanets, TrES-2b and TrES-3b. We obtained near-simultaneous observations in two near-infrared wavelengths (790.2 and 794.4nm). We provide normalized flux ratios for each target, where the flux ratio is defined as the target flux divided by the total combined flux from several non-variable reference stars. The flux ratios have been normalized against the baseline (out-of-transit) flux ratio for each target. - We continued our ground-based observing project with the season-long observations of ZZ Ceti stars at the Konkoly Observatory. Our present targets are the newly discovered PM J22299+3024 and the already known LP 119-10 variables. LP 119-10 was also observed by the TESS space telescope in 120-second cadence mode. Our main aims are to characterise the pulsation properties of the targets and extract pulsation modes from the data for asteroseismic investigations. We performed a standard Fourier analysis of the daily, weekly, and entire data sets, together with test data of different combinations of weekly observations. We then performed asteroseismic fits utilising the observed and the calculated pulsation periods. For the calculations of model grids necessary for the fits, we applied the 2018 version of the White Dwarf Evolution Code. We derived six possible pulsation modes for PM J22299+3024 and five plus two TESS pulsation frequencies for LP 119-10. We note that further pulsation frequencies may be present in the data sets, but we found their detection ambiguous, so we omitted them from the final frequency list. Our asteroseismic fits of PM J22299+3024 give 11400K and 0.46M_{sun}_ for the effective temperature and the stellar mass, respectively. The temperature is ~800K higher, while the mass of the model star is exactly the same as was earlier derived by spectroscopy. Our model fits of LP 119-10 put the effective temperature in the range of 11800-11900K, which is again higher than the spectroscopic 11290K value. Moreover, our best model solutions give M*=0.70M_{sun}_ mass for this target, which is near to the spectroscopic value of 0.65M_{sun}_ and likewise in the case of PM J22299+3024. The seismic distances of our best-fit model stars agree with the Gaia astrometric distances of PM J22299+3024 and LP 119-10 within the errors, validating our model results.

- Proper motions and BV photometry in NGC 1513

- The results of astrometric and photometric investigations of the poorly studied open cluster NGC 1513 are presented. The proper motions of 333 stars with a root-mean-square error of 1.9mas/yr were obtained by means of the automated measuring complex "Fantasy". Eight astrometric plates covering the time interval of 101 years were measured and a total of 141 astrometric cluster members identified. BV CCD-photometry was obtained for stars in an area 17'x17' centered on the cluster. Altogether 33 stars with high reliability were considered to be cluster members by two criteria. The estimated age of NGC 1513 is 2.54E+08 years.

- HY Vir is found to be a double-lined F0m+F5 binary star with relatively shallow (0.3mag) partial eclipses. Previous studies of the system are improved with 7509 differential photometric observations from the URSA WebScope and 8862 from the NFO (New Forest Observatory) WebScope, and 68 high-resolution spectroscopic observations from the Tennessee State University 2m automatic spectroscopic telescope, and the 1m coude-feed spectrometer at Kitt Peak National Observatory (KPNO). Very accurate (better than 0.5%) masses and radii are determined from analysis of the new light curves and radial velocity curves. Theoretical models match the absolute properties of the stars at an age of about 1.35Gy.

- A search for pulsating pre-main-sequence (PMS) stars was performed in the young open cluster NGC 6383 using CCD time-series photometry in Johnson B and V filters. With an age of only ~1.7Myr all cluster members later than spectral type A0 have not reached the ZAMS yet, hence being ideal candidates for investigating PMS pulsation among A- and F-type stars. In total 286 stars have been analysed using classical Fourier techniques. From about a dozen stars within the boundaries of the classical instability strip, two stars were found to pulsate: NGC 6383 #170, with five frequencies simultaneously, and NGC 6383 #198, with a single frequency. In addition, NGC 6383 #152 is a suspected PMS variable star, but our data remain inconclusive. Linear, non-adiabatic models assuming PMS evolutionary phase and purely radial pulsation were calculated for the two new PMS pulsators. NGC 6383 #170 appears to pulsate radially in third and fifth overtones, while the other three frequencies seem to be of non-radial nature. NGC 6383 #198 pulsates mono-periodically, most probably in the third radial overtone. Magnitudes and BV colours were available in the literature for only one third of all stars and we used them for calibrating the remaining.

- We present 97 QSO candidates in 48 Galactic bulge fields of the Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment II (OGLE-II) covering ~11deg^2^, which are selected via their variability. We extend light curves of variable objects which were detected in a 3-yr baseline in the OGLE-II variable star catalogue to fourth year. We search for objects that are faint (16<I_0_<18.5) and slowly variable over 4-yr in this catalogue by using the variogram/structure function. Finding the QSOs in such stellar-crowded and high extinction fields is challenging, but should be useful for the astrometric reference frame. Spectroscopic follow-up observations are required to confirm these QSO candidates. Follow-up observations are being prepared for four of these fields (BUL_SC1, 2, 32 and 45). Follow-up observations for other fields are strongly encouraged. - We present a catalog the 2566 QSO candidates in the MACHO LMC database. In these catalogs, we complied number of properties of the objects including RA, Dec, crossmatched IDs with several catalogs, magnitudes, photometric redshifts, etc. See Kim et al. (2011ApJ...735...68K) for the SVM (a.k.a. Support Vector Machine, a supervised machine learning algorithm) QSO classification model based on the time variability of lightcurves. We used the model to select the 2566 QSO candidates. In this work, we employed multiple diagnostics such as X-ray flux, mid-IR color and AGN SED fitting in order to select 663 promising QSO candidates among the 2,566 candidates. These candidates are flagged in the catalog. We calibrated the MACHO RA and Dec of the candidates using the UCAC3 catalog and improved the average astrometric accuracy from ~3" to ~0.5".

- Quasar microlensing offers a unique opportunity to resolve tiny sources in distant active galactic nuclei and study compact object populations in lensing galaxies. We therefore searched for microlensing-induced variability of the gravitationally lensed quasar QSO 2237+0305 (Einstein Cross) using 4374 optical frames taken with the 2.0m Liverpool Telescope and the 1.5m Maidanak Telescope. These gVrRI frames over the 2006-2019 period were homogeneously processed to generate accurate long-term multi-band light curves of the four quasar images A-D. Through difference light curves, we found strong microlensing signatures. We then focused on the analytical modelling of two putative caustic-crossing events in image C, finding compelling evidence that this image experienced a double caustic crossing. Additionally, our overall results indicate that a standard accretion disc accounts reasonably well for the brightness profile of UV continuum emission sources and for the growth in source radius when the emission wavelength increases: R_{lambda}_{prop.to}{lambda}^{alpha}^, {alpha}=1.33+/-0.09. However, we caution that numerical microlensing simulations are required before firm conclusions can be reached on the UV emission scenario because the VRI-band monitoring during the first caustic crossing and one of our two {alpha} indicators lead to a few good solutions with {alpha}~~1.
