- We present the global X-ray properties of the point source population in the grand-design spiral galaxy M101, as seen with XMM-Newton. 108 X-ray sources are detected within the D25 ellipse of M101, of which ~24 are estimated to be background galaxies. Multiwavelength cross-correlations show that 20 sources are coincident with H II regions and/or supernova remnants (SNRs), seven have identified/candidate background galaxy counterparts, six are coincident with foreground stars and one has a radio counterpart.

- We present a second catalog of HI sources detected in the Arecibo Legacy Fast ALFA Survey. We report 488 detections over 135deg^2^, within the region of the sky having 22<RA<03 and +26<DE<+28. We present here the detections that have either (a) S/N>6.5, where the reliability of the catalog is better than 95% or (b) 5.0<S/N<6.5 and a previously measured redshift that corroborates our detection. Of the 488 objects presented here, 49 are high-velocity clouds or clumps thereof with negative heliocentric recession velocities. These clouds are mostly very compact and isolated, while some of them are associated with large features such as Wright's Cloud or the northern extension of the Magellanic Stream. The remaining 439 candidate detections are identified as extragalactic objects and have all been matched with optical counterparts. Five of the six galaxies detected with M_HI_<10^7.5^ solMass are satellites of either the NGC672/IC1727 nearby galaxy pair or their neighboring dwarf irregular galaxy NGC784. The data of this catalog release include a slice through the Pisces-Perseus foreground void, a large nearby underdensity of galaxies. We report no detections within the void, where our catalog is complete for systems with HI masses of 10^8^M_{sun}_.

- We present an analysis of the properties of the 6.7GHz methanol maser sample detected in the Arecibo Methanol Maser Galactic Plane Survey. The distribution of the masers in the Galaxy, and statistics of their multiwavelength counterparts is consistent with the hypothesis of 6.7GHz maser emission being associated with massive young stellar objects. Using the detection statistics of our survey, we estimate the minimum number of methanol masers in the Galaxy to be 1275.

- The planet-metallicity correlation serves as a potential link between exoplanet systems as we observe them today and the effects of bulk composition on the planet formation process. Many observers have noted a tendency for Jovian planets to form around stars with higher metallicities; however, there is no consensus on a trend for smaller planets. Here, we investigate the planet-metallicity correlation for rocky planets in single and multi-planet systems around Kepler M-dwarf and late-K-dwarf stars. Due to molecular blanketing and the dim nature of these low-mass stars, it is difficult to make direct elemental abundance measurements via spectroscopy. We instead use a combination of accurate and uniformly measured parallaxes and photometry to obtain relative metallicities and validate this method with a subsample of spectroscopically determined metallicities. We use the Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) test, Mann-Whitney U-test, and Anderson-Darling (AD) test to compare the compact multiple planetary systems with single-transiting planet systems and systems with no detected transiting planets. We find that the compact multiple planetary systems are derived from a statistically more metal-poor population, with a p-value of 0.015 in the K-S test, a p-value of 0.005 in the Mann-Whitney U-test, and a value of 2.574 in the AD test statistic, which exceeds the derived threshold for significance by a factor of 25. We conclude that metallicity plays a significant role in determining the architecture of rocky planet systems. Compact multiples either form more readily, or are more likely to survive on gigayear timescales, around metal-poor stars.

- The All-Sky Automated Survey for Supernovae (ASAS-SN) is the first optical survey to routinely monitor the whole sky with a cadence of ~2-3d down to V<~17mag. ASAS-SN has monitored the whole sky since 2014, collecting ~100-500 epochs of observations per field. The V-band light curves for candidate variables identified during the search for supernovae are classified using a random forest classifier and visually verified. In Paper I (Jayasinghe+ 2018MNRAS.477.3145J), we present a catalogue of 66179 bright, new variable stars discovered during our search for supernovae, including 27479 periodic variables and 38700 irregular variables. In paper II (Jayasinghe+ 2019MNRAS.486.1907J), We extracted the ASAS-SN light curves of ~412000 variable stars previously discovered by other surveys and in the VSX catalogue. In paper III (Jayasinghe+ 2019MNRAS.485..961J), we extracted the ASAS-SN light curves of ~1.3 million sources within 18deg of the Southern Ecliptic Pole. These sources are within the southern TESS CVZ and will have well-sampled TESS light curves.

- We have performed mid-IR photometry of the young open cluster NGC 2264 using the images obtained with the Spitzer Space Telescope Infrared Array Camera and Multiband Imaging Photometer for Spitzer instruments and presented a normalized classification scheme of young stellar objects in various color-color diagrams to make full use of the information from multicolor photometry. These results are compared with the classification scheme based on the slope of the spectral energy distribution (SED). From the spatial distributions of Class I and II stars, we have identified two subclusterings of Class I objects in the CONE region of Sung et al. (Cat. J/AJ/135/441). The disked stars in the other star-forming region S Mon are mostly Class II objects. In addition, we have derived a somewhat higher value of the primordial disk fraction for NGC 2264 members located below the main pre-main-sequence locus (so-called BMS stars). This result supports the idea that BMS stars are young stars with nearly edge-on disks.

- We present multiwavelength photometric catalogues (HST, Spitzer and Hawk-I K band) for the first two of the Frontier Fields, Abell2744 and MACSJ0416 (plus their parallel fields). To detect faint sources even in the central regions of the clusters, we develop a robust and repeatable procedure that uses the public codes Galapagos and Galfit to model and remove most of the light contribution from both the brightest cluster members as well as the ICL. We perform the detection on the HST H160 processed image to obtain a pure H-selected sample. We also add a sample of sources which are undetected in the H160 image but appear on a stacked infrared image. Photometry in the other HST bands is obtained using SExtractor, performed again on residual images after the Galfit procedure for foreground light removal. Photometry on the Hawk-I and IRAC bands has been obtained using our PSF-matching deconfusion code T-PHOT. A similar procedure, but without the need for the foreground light removal, is adopted for the Parallel fields. The procedure allows for the detection and the photometric measurements of ~2500 sources per field. We deliver and release complete photometric H-detected catalogues, with the addition of a complementary sample of infrared-detected sources. All objects have multiwavelength coverage including B to H HST bands, plus K band from Hawk-I, and 3.6 - 4.5 {\mu}m from Spitzer. Full and detailed treatment of photometric errors is included. We perform basic sanity checks on the reliability of our results. The multiwavelength catalogues are publicly available and are ready to be used for scientific purposes. Our procedures allows for the detection of outshined objects near the bright galaxies, which, coupled with the magnification effect of the clusters, can reveal extremely faint high redshift sources. Full analysis on photometric redshifts is presented in a companion Paper II. We present the first public release of photometric redshifts, galaxy rest-frame properties and associated magnification values in the cluster and parallel pointings of the first two Frontier Fields, Abell-2744 and MACS-J0416. We exploit a multi-wavelength catalogue ranging from HST to ground-based K and Spitzer IRAC which is specifically designed to enable detection and measurement of accurate fluxes in crowded cluster regions. The multi-band information is used to derive photometric redshifts and physical properties of sources detected either in the H-band image alone or from a stack of four WFC3 bands. To minimize systematics median photometric redshifts are assembled from six different approaches to photo-z estimates. Their reliability is assessed through a comparison with available spectroscopic samples. State of the art lensing models are used to derive magnification values on an object-by-object basis by taking into account sources positions and redshifts. We show that photometric redshifts reach a remarkable ~3-5% accuracy. After accounting for magnification the H band number counts are found in agreement at bright magnitudes with number counts from the CANDELS fields, while extending the presently available samples to galaxies intrinsically as faint as H160~32-33 thanks to strong gravitational lensing. The Frontier Fields allow to probe the galaxy stellar mass distribution at 0.5-1.5dex lower masses, depending on magnification, with respect to extragalactic wide fields, including sources at Mstar~10^7-10^8^M_{sun}_ at z>5. Similarly, they allow the detection of objects with intrinsic SFRs>1dex lower than in the CANDELS fields reaching 0.1-1M_{sun}_/yr at z~6-10.

- In addition to their great astrophysical interest, quasars represent quasi-ideal reference objects in the celestial sphere with, a priori, a lack of significant proper motion. Since the fourth release of the Large Quasar Astrometric Catalogue (LQAC-4), a large number of quasars have been discovered, in particular those coming from the DR14Q release of the SDSS. With the advent of the Gaia Data Release 2 (DR2), it is now also possible to fold in extremely accurate quasar positions. Following the same procedure as in the previous releases of the LQAC, our aim is to compile the large majority of the recorded quasars, with their best estimated coordinates and substantial information about their physical properties such as the redshift, multi-bands apparent, and absolute magnitudes. Emphasis is given to the results of the cross-matches with the Gaia DR2 catalogue, which considerably increases the positional accuracy. New quasars from the SDSS DR14Q release were cross-matched with the precedent LQAC-4 compilation with a 1" search radius, which leads to 149084 objects not present in the previous LQAC-4 release. Another cross-match was done with the Gaia DR2 catalogue, which enables us to considerably improve the positioning of these objects. For the first time, parallaxes and proper motions from the DR2, when available, are added to our compilation. Furthermore, a cross-identification of the LQAC-5 with the AllWISE survey gives additional mid-infrared information for an important percentage of objects. Our final catalogue, namely the LQAC-5, contains 592 809 quasars. This represents roughly a 34% increase with respect to the number of objects recorded in the LQAC-4. Among them, 398 697 objects were found in common with the Gaia DR2, within a 1" search radius. That corresponds to 67.26% of the whole population of the compilation. The LQAC-5 delivers a nearly complete catalogue of spectroscopically confirmed quasars (including a small proportion of 14126 compact AGN's) to the astronomical community, with the aim of giving their best equatorial coordinates with respect to the ICRF2 and with exhaustive additional information. For more than 50% of the sample, these coordinates are extracted from the very recent Gaia DR2.

- The catalogue of stars in the Galactic open cluster areas (CSOCA) is the result of the kinematic (proper motion), photometric and spatial member selection of stars listed in the homogeneous All-sky Compiled Catalogue of 2.5 Million Stars (ASCC-2.5, Cat. <I/280>) within 520 areas with open clusters selected from an on-line release 2.0 of catalogue by Dias et al. (2004, http://www.astro.iag.usp.br/~wilton, Cat. VII/229). The areas represent quadratic fields centered at adopted cluster centers with side lengths of a_cl_[deg]=2*(r_cl_+0.1), where r_cl_ is the determined angular radius of the cluster. For clusters with r_cl_<0.4{deg}, a_cl_=1{deg}. In every cluster area the CSOCA contains the complete list of the ASCC-2.5 stars. The catalog includes accurate J2000 equatorial coordinates, proper motions in the Hipparcos system, BV photometric data in the Johnson system, proper motion, photometric and spatial membership probabilities, and angular distances from the cluster centers for all included stars. If available, trigonometric parallaxes, multiplicity and variability flags from the ASCC-2.5, spectral types (from the ASCC-2.5 or the Tycho-2 Spectral Type Catalog <III/231>), and radial velocities with their errors from the Catalogue of Radial Velocities of Galactic Stars with high precision Astrometric Data (CRVAD, <III/239>) are also given. Since some cluster areas overlap each other some stars are included in the CSOCA several times. The catalogue contains 171319 entries for 149849 stars. Entries are sorted in right ascension J2000 order.

- An all-sky comprehensive catalogue of calculated radio and X-ray associations to optical objects is presented. Included are X-ray sources from XMM-Newton, Chandra and ROSAT catalogues, radio sources from NVSS, FIRST and SUMSS catalogues, and optical data, identifications and redshifts from the APM, USNO-A, SDSS-DR7 and the extant literature. This "Atlas of Radio/X-ray Associations" inherits many techniques from the predecessor Quasars.org catalog (Flesch 2004, Cat. J/A+A/427/387), but object selection is changed and processing tweaked. Optical objects presented are those which are calculated with 40% confidence to be associated with radio/X-ray detections, totalling 602570 objects in all, including 23681 double radio lobe detections. For each of these optical objects I display the calculated percentage probabilities of its being a QSO, galaxy, star, or erroneous radio / X-ray association, plus any identification from the literature. The catalogue includes 105568 uninvestigated objects listed as 40% to >99% likely to be a QSO. The catalogue is available at http://quasars.org/arxa.htm .
