- We present a homogeneous compilation of HI spectral parameters extracted from global 21cm line spectra for some 9000 galaxies in the local universe (heliocentric velocity -200<V_{sun}_<28,000km/s) obtained with a variety of large single-dish radio telescopes but reanalyzed using a single set of parameter extraction algorithms. Corrections to the observed HI line flux for source extent and pointing offsets and to the HI line widths for instrumental broadening and smoothing are applied according to model estimates to produce a homogenous catalog of derived properties with quantitative error estimates. Where the redshift is available from optical studies, we also provide flux measurements for an additional 156 galaxies classified as marginal HI detections and rms noise limits for 494 galaxies classified as nondetections.

- The HI supershells catalogue was carried out making use of the Leiden-Argentine-Bonn (LAB) HI survey in the outer part of the Galaxy. The identification of the supershell candidates was made using a combination of two techniques: a visual inspection one plus an automatic searching algorithm. A total of 566 supershell candidates were identified. Most of them (347) are located in the second galactic quadrant, while 219 were found in the third one.

- We present the results of a neutral hydrogen survey conducted with the 100-m radiotelescope at Effelsberg of 44 northern objects in the polar-ring galaxy atlas of Whitmore et al. (1990AJ....100.1489W). These observations were performed to complement the Green Bank observations of polar-ring galaxies (Paper I, 1994AJ....107...99R). We detected 29 of these above our detection limit of a few mJy. The relative content of neutral hydrogen (M_HI_/L_B_) of the early-type galaxies (E, S0) in this sample is significantly higher than for galaxies of the same morphological types from comparison samples, i.e. for elliptical galaxies M_HI_/L_B_=0.17+/-0.09 and for S0 galaxies M_HI_/L_B_=0.75+/-0.13 which is about 6 times the mean value from the comparison samples for the same morphological types.

- A total of 33 polar ring galaxies and polar ring galaxy candidates were observed in the 21-cm HI line with the 64-m Parkes radio telescope. The objects, selected by their optical morphology, are all south of declination -39{deg} and in only 5 of them had been reported previously. HI line emission was detected towards 18 objects, though in 3 cases the detection may be confused by another galaxy in the telescope beam, and one is a marginal detection. Eight objects were detected for the first time in HI, of which 5 did not have previously known redshifts.

- The H-magnitude aperture data published by the Aaronson et al. collaboration (See references) over a 10 year period is collected into a homogeneous data set of 1731 observations of 665 galaxies. Ninety-six percent of these galaxies have isophotal diameters and axial ratios determined by the Third Reference Catalogue of Bright Galaxies (RC3; de Vaucouleurs et al., 1991, Cat. <VII/155>), the most self-consistent set of optical data currently available. The precepts governing the optical data in the RC3 are systematically different from those of the Second Reference Catalogue (de Vaucouleurs, de Vaucouleurs, & Corwin 1976, Cat .<VII/112>), which were used by Aaronson et al. for their original analyses of galaxy peculiar motions. This in turn leads to systematic differences in growth curves and fiducial H-magnitudes, prompting the present recalibration of the near-infrared Tully-Fisher relationship. New optically normalized H-magnitude growth curves are defined for galaxies of types S0 to Im, from which new values of fiducial H-magnitude, H^g^_-0.5_, are measured for the 665 galaxies. A series of internal tests show that these four standard growth curves are defined to an accuracy of 0.05mag over the interval 1.5<=log(A/D_g_)<=-0.2. Comparisons with the Aaronson et al. values of diameters, axial ratios, and fiducial H-magnitudes show the expected differences, given the different definitions of these parameters. The values of H^g^_-0.5_ are assigned quality indices: a quality value of 1 indicates an accuracy of less than 0.2mag, quality 2 indicates an accuracy of 0.2-0.35mag, and quality 3 indicates an accuracy of more than 0.35mag. Revised values of corrected H I velocity widths are also given, based on the new set of axial ratios defined by the RC3.

- We present the current version of the "Homogeneous Catalog of Open Clusters Parameters", supported by our group during last decades. The catalog is created on the base of redetermination of the main parameters of clusters (colour excesses, distances from the Sun and ages) using published photometric measurements, in particular, according to the 2MASS catalog of point sources. At present, the catalog contains parameters of 1035 clusters. The catalog includes the radial velocities data for 496 open clusters. All clusters of the catalog have estimates of the components of proper motion.

- UV observations of some massive globular clusters have revealed a significant population of stars hotter and fainter than the hot end of the horizontal branch (HB), the so-called blue hook stars. This feature might be explained either by the late hot flasher scenario where stars experience the helium flash while on the white dwarf cooling curve or by the progeny of the helium-enriched sub-population postulated to exist in some clusters. Previous spectroscopic analyses of blue hook stars in omega Cen and NGC 2808 support the late hot flasher scenario, but the stars contain much less helium than expected and the predicted C and N enrichment cannot be verified. We compare the observed effective temperatures, surface gravities, helium abundances, and carbon line strengths (where detectable) of our targets stars with the predictions of the two aforementioned scenarios.

- The project Massive Unseen Companions to Hot Faint Underluminous Stars from SDSS (MUCHFUSS) aims at finding hot subdwarf stars with massive compact companions like massive white dwarfs (M>1.0M_{sun}_), neutron stars, or stellar-mass black holes. The existence of such systems is predicted by binary evolution theory, and recent discoveries indicate that they exist in our Galaxy. We present orbital and atmospheric parameters and put constraints on the nature of the companions of 12 close hot subdwarf B star (sdB) binaries found in the course of the MUCHFUSS project. The systems show periods between 0.14 and 7.4days. In nine cases the nature of the companions cannot be constrained unambiguously whereas three systems most likely have white dwarf companions. We find that the companion to SDSSJ083006.17+475150.3 is likely to be a rare example of a low-mass helium-core white dwarf. SDSSJ095101.28+034757.0 shows an excess in the infrared that probably originates from a third companion in a wide orbit, which makes this system the second candidate hierarchical triple system containing an sdB star. SDSSJ113241.58-063652.8 is the first helium deficient sdO star with a confirmed close companion. This study brings to 142 the number of sdB binaries with orbital periods of less than 30 days and with measured mass functions. We present an analysis of the minimum companion mass distribution and show that it is bimodal. One peak around 0.1M_{sun}_ corresponds to the low-mass main sequence (dM) and substellar companions. The other peak around 0.4M_{sun}_ corresponds to the white dwarf companions. The derived masses for the white dwarf companions are significantly lower than the average mass for single carbon-oxygen white dwarfs. In a T_eff_-logg diagram of sdB+dM companions, we find signs that the sdB components are more massive than the rest of the sample. The full sample was compared to the known population of extremely low-mass white dwarf binaries as well as short-period white dwarfs with main sequence companions. Both samples show a significantly different companion mass distribution indicating either different selection effects or different evolutionary paths. We identified 16 systems where the dM companion will fill its Roche Lobe within a Hubble time and will evolve into a cataclysmic variable; two of them will have a brown dwarf as donor star. Twelve systems with confirmed white dwarf companions will merge within a Hubble time, two of them having a mass ratio to evolve into a stable AMCVn-type binary and another two which are potential supernova Ia progenitor systems. The remaining eight systems will most likely merge and form RCrB stars or massive C/O white dwarfs depending on the structure of the white dwarf companion.

- We selected 4593 hot subdwarf candidates from the Gaia DR2 Hertzsprung-Russell (HR) diagram. By combining the sample with Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fibre Spectroscopic Telescope (LAMOST) DR5, we identified 294 hot subdwarf stars, including 169 sdB, 63 sdOB, 31 He-sdOB, 22 sdO, 7 He-sdO, and 2 He-sdB stars. The atmospheric parameters (e.g., Teff, logg, log(nHe/nH)) are obtained by fitting the hydrogen (H) and helium (He) line profiles with synthetic spectra. Two distinct He sequences of hot subdwarf stars are clearly presented in the Teff-logg diagram. We found that the He-rich sequence consists of the bulk of sdB and sdOB stars, as well as all of the He-sdB, He-sdO, and He-sdOB stars in our samples, while all the stars in the He-weak sequence belong to the sdO spectral type, combined with a few sdB and sdOB stars. We demonstrated that the combination of Gaia DR2 and LAMOST DR5 allows one to uncover a huge number of new hot subdwarf stars in our Galaxy.

- We report on the validation of two planets orbiting the nearby (36pc) M2 dwarf TOI-1266 observed by the TESS mission. This system is one of a few M dwarf multiplanet systems with close-in planets where the inner planet is substantially larger than the outer planet. The inner planet is sub-Neptune-sized (R=2.46{+/-}0.08R{Earth}) with an orbital period of 10.9days, while the outer planet has a radius of 1.67_-0.11_^+0.09^R{Earth} and resides in the exoplanet radius valley-the transition region between rocky and gaseous planets. With an orbital period of 18.8days, the outer planet receives an insolation flux of 2.4 times that of Earth, similar to the insolation of Venus. Using precision near-infrared radial velocities with the Habitable-zone Planet Finder Spectrograph, we place upper mass limits of 15.9 and 6.4M{Earth} at 95% confidence for the inner and outer planet, respectively. A more precise mass constraint of both planets, achievable with current radial velocity instruments given the host star brightness (V=12.9, J=9.7), will yield further insights into the dominant processes sculpting the exoplanet radius valley.
