- We present HI observations of the galaxies in the first list of the Karachentsev catalog of previously unknown nearby dwarf galaxies (Karachentseva & Karachentsev, 1998, Cat. <J/A+AS/127/409>). This survey covers all known nearby galaxy groups within the Local Volume (i.e. within 10Mpc) and their environment, that is about 25% of the total sky. A total of 257 galaxies have been observed with a detection rate of 60%. We searched a frequency band corresponding to heliocentric radial velocities from -470km/s to ~+4000km/s. Non-detections are either due to limited coverage in radial velocity, confusion with Local HI (mainly in the velocity range -140km/s to +20km/s), or lack of sensitivity for very weak emission. 25% of the detected galaxies are located within the Local Volume. Those galaxies are dwarf galaxies judged by their optical linear diameter (1.4+/-0.2kpc on the average), their mean total HI mass (4.6x10^7^M_{sun}_), and their observed linewidths (39km/s).

- We present the results of nine years of the blazar observing programme at the RATAN-600 radio telescope (2005-2014). The data were obtained at six frequency bands (1.1, 2.3, 4.8, 7.7, 11.2, 21.7GHz) for 290 blazars, mostly BL Lacs. In addition, we used data at 37GHz obtained quasi-simultaneously with the Metsahovi radio observatory for some sources. For each source NVSS name (RA (hhmmss) and DEC (ddmmss) for the J2000.0 epoch), and flux densities at seven frequencies are presented (1.1-37GHz).

- This paper presents HI observations of 165 dwarf galaxy candidates from the Karachentsev catalog of candidates for nearby dwarf galaxies prepared from film copies of POSSII and the ESO/SERC southern extension. Now a total of 601 galaxies from the published Karachentsev catalog have been searched for HI emission. Table 1 lists coordinates and general optical properties while Table 2 presents HI data and some global properties of these galaxies.

- Full-Stokes polarimetry of 5 radio sources

- We present an analysis pipeline that enables the recovery of reliable information for all four Stokes parameters with high accuracy. Its novelty relies on the effective treatment of the instrumental effects even before the computation of the Stokes parameters, contrary to conventionally used methods such as that based on the Mueller matrix. For instance, instrumental linear polarization is corrected across the whole telescope beam and significant Stokes Q and U can be recovered even when the recorded signals are severely corrupted by instrumental effects. The accuracy we reach in terms of polarization degree is of the order of 0.1-0.2%. The polarization angles are determined with an accuracy of almost 1{def}. The presented methodology was applied to recover the linear and circular polarization of around 150 active galactic nuclei, which were monitored between July 2010 and April 2016 with the Effelsberg 100-m telescope at 4.85GHz and 8.35GHz with a median cadence of 1.2 months. The polarized emission of the Moon was used to calibrate the polarization angle measurements. Our analysis showed a small system-induced rotation of about 1{deg} at both observing frequencies. Over the examined period, five sources have significant and stable linear polarization; three sources remain constantly linearly unpolarized; and a total of 11 sources have stable circular polarization degree m_c_, four of them with non-zero m_c_. We also identify eight sources that maintain a stable polarization angle. All this is provided to the community for future polarization observations reference. We finally show that our analysis method is conceptually different from those traditionally used and performs better than the Mueller matrix method. Although it has been developed for a system equipped with circularly polarized feeds, it can easily be generalized to systems with linearly polarized feeds as well.

- We present Arecibo neutral hydrogen data on a sample of optically selected dwarf galaxies. The sample ranges in H I mass from 10^6^ to 5x10^9^M_{sun}_, with a mean of 7.9x10^8^M_{sun}_. Using estimated H I radii, the H I surface densities range from 0.6 to 20M_{sun}_/pc^2^, all well below the critical threshold for star formation (Kennicutt, 1998ApJ...498..541K). M_HI_/L values of the LSB dwarfs range from 0.3 to 12 with a mean value of 2.0. Dynamical masses, calculated from the H I profile widths, range from 10^8^ to 10^11^M_{sun}_. There is a strong correlation between optical luminosity and dynamical mass for LSB dwarfs implying that the dark matter (whether baryonic or nonbaryonic) follows the detectable baryonic matter.

- This catalog contains 1.49 GHz VLA observations of sources from the IRAS Bright Galaxy Sample. The original IRAS Bright Galaxy Sample (Soifer et al., 1987ApJ...320..238S) comprises 324 extragalactic objects with 60 micron flux densities above 5.4 Jy. It is the infrared analog of the radio 3CR or optical Shapley-Ames samples. Recalibration of the IRAS flux densities led to a revised Bright Galaxy Sample (Soifer et al., 1989AJ.....98..766S) containing 313 sources stronger than 5.24 Jy at 60 microns. Only one source from these samples was not detected (NGC1377) at 1.49 GHz. For most sources, multiple observations were conducted with different synthesized beam areas. Thus, for a given galaxy there may be several rows in the table reporting data at different angular resolution or reporting different radio components of the object. A low-resolution observation was used to yield an accurate total flux density and a high-resolution observation was used to resolve the brightest components clearly. These observations were originally presented in Condon, et al., (1990ApJS...73..359C).

- We have searched the Faint Images of the Radio Sky at Twenty centimeters (FIRST, <VIII/71>) and the NRAO VLA Sky Survey (NVSS, <VIII/65>) 1.4GHz radio surveys for sources that are coincident with emission-line galaxy (ELG) candidates from the KPNO International Spectroscopic Survey (KISS). A total of 207 of the 2157 KISS ELGs (~10%) in the first two H{alpha}-selected survey lists (Cats <J/AJ/121/66>, <J/AJ/127/1943>) were found to possess radio detections in FIRST, NVSS, or both. Follow-up spectra exist for all of the radio detections, allowing us to determine the activity type (star-forming vs. active nucleus) for the entire sample. We explore the properties of the radio-detected KISS galaxies in order to gain a better insight into the nature of radio-emitting galaxies in the local universe (z<0.1). Because of the selection technique used for KISS, our radio ELGs represent a quasivolume-limited sample, which allows us to develop a clearer picture of the radio galaxy population at low redshift. Nearly two-thirds of the KISS radio galaxies are starburst or star-forming galaxies, which is in stark contrast to the results of flux-limited radio surveys, which are dominated by active galactic nuclei (AGNs) and elliptical galaxies (i.e., classical radio galaxies).

- The First Look Survey (FLS) is the first scientific product to emerge from the Spitzer Space Telescope. A small region of this field (the verification strip) has been imaged very deeply, permitting the detection of cosmologically distant sources. We present Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope (WSRT) observations of this region, encompassing a 1 sq. deg field, centred on the verification strip (J2000 RA=17:17:00.00, DE=59:45:00.000). The radio images reach a noise level of 8.5 microJy per beam - the deepest WSRT image made to date. We summarise here the first results from the project, and present the final mosaic image, together with a list of detected sources. The effect of source confusion on the position, size and flux density of the faintest sources in the source catalogue are also addressed. The results of a serendipitous search for HI emission in the field are also presented. Using a subset of the data, we clearly detect HI emission associated with four galaxies in the central region of the FLSv. These are identified with nearby, massive galaxies.

- Gigahertz-Peaked spectrum (GPS) sources are compact active galactic nuclei, presumably young precursors of bright radio sources. The study of GPS radio properties provides information about the features of synchrotron radiation in extragalactic sources. Also in applied research, GPS sources are useful as compact stationary radio sources in the sky for astrometric purposes. This paper presents the results of a multifrequency GPS study based on quasi-simultaneous measurements with the RATAN-600 radio telescope during the 2006-2017 period. A catalog of GPS spectral flux densities at six frequencies - 1.1, 2.3, 4.8, 7.7/8.2, 11.2, and 21.7GHz - is obtained. In addition, for the analysis of radio spectra, data from low-frequency surveysGLEAM(GaLactic and Extragalactic AllskyMurchisonwidefield array survey) and TGSS (Tata institute for fundamental research GMRT Sky Survey) and high-frequency measurements from Planck survey are used. A total number of 164 GPS and candidates have been identified (17 of them are new discoveries), which makes up a small fraction of GPS in the initial sample of bright AGNs - about 2%. The physical properties and formation conditions of synchrotron radiation is found to be quite different in GPS of different AGNs types. The deficit of distant GPS (z>2) with low maximum frequencies (less than 1GHz) has been confirmed. The existing "size-peak frequency" anticorrelation is continuous. The continuum radio spectra are found to become statistically steeper with increasing redshift.

- We report on 1.4GHz continuum observations for 56 contiguous VLA fields, using the D configuration, in a region devoid of nearby, rich galaxy clusters (at z<0.4). 354 continuum sources are tabulated, with fluxes down to about 1.5mJy, in an area of about 12degres^+2^. Only about seven of the 354 radio sources are associated with known rich galaxy clusters at z>0.4 (tabulated by Gunn, Hoessel, and Oke, 1986ApJ...306...30G). We compare source positions with those from an optical catalog (generated from a POSS plate with the use of the Minnesota Automated Plate Scanner) and find mild correlations on angular scales of order 1arcmin. This suggests some association of radio sources with galaxy groups (sizes of order 200 kpc) at redshifts of order z~0.1, even though there are no rich galaxy clusters in this redshift range.
