The second generation of the Apache Point Observatory Galactic Evolution Experiment (APOGEE-2) observes the "archaeological" record embedded in hundreds of thousands of stars to explore the assembly history and evolution of the Milky Way Galaxy. APOGEE-2 maps the dynamical and chemical patterns of Milky Way stars with data from the 1-meter NMSU Telescope and the 2.5-meter Sloan Foundation Telescope at the Apache Point Observatory in New Mexico (APOGEE-2N), and the 2.5-meter du Pont Telescope at Las Campanas Observatory in Chile (APOGEE-2S).

Description:
Based on Herschel Gould Belt survey (Andre et al., 2010A&A...518L.102A) observations of the Ophiuchus Molecular Cloud, and using the multi-scale, multi-wavelength source extraction algorithm getsources (Men'shchikov et al., 2012A&A...542A..81M), we identified a total of 513 dense cores, including 144 starless cores. The observed properties of all dense cores are given in tablea1.dat, and their derived properties are listed in tablea2.dat.

Spectrum synthesis calculations were performed on four different families of model atmospheres: 3D hydrodynamic model atmospheres from the STAGGER-grid (Magic et al. 2013A&A...557A..26M, Cat. J/A+A/557/A26); 1D model atmospheres determined by averaging the <3D> STAGGER model atmospheres (henceforth <3D> model atmospheres; Magic et al. 2013A&A...560A...8M, Cat. J/A+A/560/A8); theoretical 1D hydrostatic model atmospheres from the ATMO-grid (the 1D equivalent of the STAGGER-grid, see Appendix A of Magic et al. 2013A&A...557A..26M, Cat. J/A+A/557/A26); and theoretical 1D hydrostatic model atmospheres from the MARCS-grid (Gustafsson et al. 2008A&A...486..951G). Table1 contains the line parameters that were adopted for the grids of abundance corrections. Table2 contains the 3D non-LTE versus 1D LTE abundance corrections for CI lines. Table3 contains the 3D non-LTE versus 1D LTE abundance corrections for OI lines. Table4 contains the 3D LTE versus 1D LTE abundance corrections for FeII lines. We here analyse a specific data-set: the extended GALAH dataset. This consists of stellar spectra from the GALAH survey (reduced as explained in Kos et al., 2017MNRAS.464.1259K), apparent magnitudes from a variety of photometric catalogues (AAVSO Photometric All Sky Survey - APASS; Henden et al. 2016, Cat. II/336, Gaia DR2; Gaia Collaboration et al. 2018, Cat. I/345. Two Micron All Sky Survey - 2MASS; Skrutskie et al. 2006, Cat. VII/233, Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer - WISE; Wright et al. 2010, Cat. II/311), and the parallax measurements from Gaia DR2. The data provided in this catalogue are described in Table A.1 of the paper.
Galaxies around M87 with supergalactic coordinates SGL=[87.9, 117.9] degrees, SGB=[-12.4, +7.6] degrees and radial velocities V_LG_<2600km/s. The table contains 1537 galaxies, among them, 738 galaxies have distance estimates: 358 from public databases and 380 distances estimated for the first time in this paper (indicated in the last column as TF or TFb).

The spectrum with best quality, in terms of signal-to-noise ratio, was considered for the quantitative spectroscopic analysis and a multi-epoch characterization.
