- The results of the very-low frequency (16.7MHz) survey of discrete sources made with the UTR-2 radio telescope is presented. The survey concerns the declination zones -13{deg} to -2{deg}, 0{deg} to 20{deg}, 30{deg} to 40{deg}, and 41{deg} to 60{deg}. The UTR-2 radio source catalogue contains an estimate of the coordinates and flux densities of 1819 sources measured at a number of the lowest frequencies used in contemporary radio astronomy within the range from 10 to 25 MHz. The catalogue is made of two parts: mean.dat: the averaged values of the coordinates and the corresponding errors, the source flux-density at the middle UTR-2 frequency 16.7 MHz as obtained from measured spectrum of the source at all UTR-2 frequencies and its error, the value of measured low-frequency spectral index with respect to which the estimate of has been obtained, the parameter W characterizing the integral reliability of the obtained source estimates and the corresponding object name from higher-frequency radio survey provided the source has been identified. To indicate the integral readability of the source parameters obtained we used the symbols A, B and C. These reliability estimates take into account the total number of measurements, coordinate scatter, number of frequencies and hour-angle settings at which the source parameters have been evaluated. The highly reliable observation results have been marked with symbol A . The sources whose parameters can be used without an additional analysis are marked with B and sources whose parameters are to be used with care have been marked with C. data.dat: this file contains the experimental estimates of the source coordinates and flux densities as well as their errors at each operating frequency of the UTR-2 in the order of their increasing; the total number (N) of successive observations according to which the estimates were obtained and the number of different hour-angle settings (NRA) of the reception pattern at which the source was observed. In cases when the observations did not allow us to obtain a reliable estimates of a source flux density the catalogue contains only their upper limits which are not accompanied by errors. The approximated values of as well as low-frequency spectral indices are presented only for those sources which have flux density estimates obtained at not less than three different UTR-2 frequencies.

- We present the first data release (DR1) from our UV-bright Quasar Survey for new z~1 active galactic nuclei (AGNs) across the sky. Using simple GALEX UV and WISE near-IR color selection criteria, we generated a list of 1450 primary candidates with FUV<18.5mag. We obtained discovery spectra, primarily on 3m-class telescopes, for 1040 of these candidates and confirmed 86% as AGNs, with redshifts generally at z>0.5. Including a small set of observed secondary candidates, we report the discovery of 217 AGNs with FUV<18mag that previously had no reported spectroscopic redshift. These are excellent potential targets for UV spectroscopy before the end of the Hubble Space Telescope mission. The main data products are publicly available through the Mikulski Archive for Space Telescopes.

- We present a comprehensive catalog of ultraviolet (HST/STIS and FUSE) absorbers in the low-redshift intergalactic medium (IGM) at z<0.4. The catalog draws from much of the extensive literature on IGM absorption and reconciles discrepancies among several previous catalogs through a critical evaluation of all reported absorption features in light of new HST/COS data. We report on 746 H I absorbers down to a rest-frame equivalent width of 12m{AA} over a maximum redshift path length {Delta}z=5.38. We also confirm 111 O VI absorbers, 29 C IV absorbers, and numerous absorption lines due to other metal ions. We characterize the bivariate distribution of absorbers in redshift and column density as a power law, ({partial}^2^N/{partial}z{partial}N){propto}N^-{beta}^, where {beta}=2.08+/-0.12 for O VI and {beta}=1.68+/-0.03 for H I. Utilizing a more sophisticated accounting technique than past work, our catalog accounts for ~43% of the baryons: 24+/-2% in the photoionized Ly{alpha} forest and 19+/-2% in the warm-hot IGM as traced by O VI. We discuss the large systematic effects of various assumed metallicities and ionization states on these calculations, and we implement recent simulation results in our estimates.

- We apply a friends-of-friends algorithm to the combined Updated Zwicky Catalog (UZC, Cat. <J/PASP/111/438> )and Southern Sky Redshift Survey (SSRS2, Cat. <J/AJ/116/1>) to construct a catalog of 1168 groups of galaxies; 411 of these groups have five or more members within the redshift survey. The group catalog covers 4.69 sr, and all groups exceed the number density contrast threshold, {delta}P/P=80. We demonstrate that the groups catalog is homogeneous across the two underlying redshift surveys; the catalog of groups and their members thus provides a basis for other statistical studies of the large-scale distribution of groups and their physical properties. The median physical properties of the groups are similar to those for groups derived from independent surveys, including the ESO Key Programme and the Las Campanas Redshift Survey. We include tables of groups and their members.

- After an 11-year observing campaign, we present the combined visual-spectroscopic orbit of the formerly unremarkable bright star HR 7345 (HD 181655, HIP 94981, GJ 754.2). Using the Separated Fringe Packet method with the CHARA Array, we were able to determine a difficult-to-complete orbital period of 331.609+/-0.004 days. The 11-month period causes the system to be hidden from interferometric view behind the Sun for three years at a time. Due to the high-eccentricity orbit of about 90% of a year, after 2018 January the periastron phase will not be observable again until late 2021. Hindered by its extremely high eccentricity of 0.9322+/-0.0001, the double-lined spectroscopic phase of HR 7345 is observable for 15 days. Such a high eccentricity for HR 7345 places it among the most eccentric systems in catalogs of both visual and spectroscopic orbits. For this system, we determine nearly identical component masses of 0.941+/-0.076 M_{sun}_ and 0.926+/-0.075 M_{sun}_ as well as an orbital parallax of 41.08+/-0.77 mas.

- The VIIth Catalogue of Galactic Population I Wolf-Rayet (WR) Stars provides improved coordinates, spectral types, and bv photometry of known WR stars and adds 71 new stars compared to the VIth Catalog. This census of galactic WR stars has reached 227 stars (226 entries in this catalog), comprising 127 WN stars, 87 WC stars, 10 WN/WC stars, and 3 WO stars. This includes 15 WNL and 11 WCL stars within 30 pc of the Galactic Center. The catalog includes information on periodicity, binarity, terminal wind velocities, correlations with open clusters, OB associations, H I bubbles, H II regions, and ring nebulae, observed and dereddened narrow-band bv photometry, and distances, both heliocentric and galactocentric, and lists the references from which this information was obtained. This catalog was created by the HEASARC in April 2001, based on electronic versions of Tables 13, 14, 15, and 28 from the published paper containing the catalog which were directly supplied to the HEASARC by the author. - VIMOS Public Extragalactic Redshift Survey" (VIPERS) is an ongoing ESO Large Program to map in detail the spatial distribution of normal galaxies over an unprecedented volume of the z~1 Universe. VIPERS is using VIMOS at the VLT to measure 100,000 redshifts for galaxies with red magnitude I(AB) brighter than 22.5 over an area of 24 square degrees. At this redshift, VIPERS fills a unique niche in galaxy surveys, optimizing the combination of 5-band accurate photometry from the CFHTLS with the multiplexing capability of VIMOS. A robust color-color pre-selection allows the survey to focus its measurements on the 0.5 <= z <= 1.2 redshift range, yielding an optimal combination of large volume (5 x 107 h-3 Mpc3) and high effective spectroscopic sampling (> 40%). With these figures, the VIPERS data set represents the z~1 equivalent of state-of-the-art "local" (z<=0.2) surveys. VIPERS scientific investigations focus on measurements of large-scale structure and cosmological parameters at an epoch when the Universe was about half its current age. At the same time, the survey can explore the ensemble properties of luminous galaxies, groups and clusters with unprecedented statistical accuracy at these redshifts.

- The present catalog of 2096 galaxies within an area of about 140{deg}^2^ approximately centered on the Virgo cluster should be an essentially complete listing of all certain and possible cluster members, independent of morphological type. Cluster membership is essentially decided by galaxy morphology; for giants and the rare class of high surface brightness dwarfs, membership rests on velocity data. While 1277 of the catalog entries are considered members of the Virgo cluster, 574 are possible members and 245 appear to be background Zwicky galaxies.
